IN which the newest Fatui recruit isn't so keen about going to Natlan with Captaino. But after spotting a rather cute boy, her world is turned upside down!

THE sun glistened along the ground, highlighting the grass that sat beneath their stiff feet. She let her body sit on the surface, her e/c eyes glaring out towards the layers of scenery before them. She felt the heavy presence of a man stalk behind her, his cloak dragging across the ground with such movements - as a result, her s/c hands gripped the grass, shoulders hunching, "So... What are we doing? 'Captain'?" She hissed in a mocking tone before mumbling a sorry as he stared daggers at her face. She rubbed her eyes, feeling the wind tickle and blow her hair around, "Are you just going to go and face her? Because I'll tell you now, she'll beat your as-"
She felt a grip tighten around her shoulder, the fabric of her dress scrunching at the touch. A nervous laughter left her lip-stick stained lips, a sheepish act as she heard his voice drop. "Do not speak to me in such ways. If you continue, I will drag your face along the ground back into that Hearth of yours. I'm surprised The Knave was even willing to let you free." He said, the words rolling off his tongue slowly, "What was it? Your parents were enemies to the Fatui?"
She shot her head around, eyebrows furrowing inwards as she found herself onto her feet. She pushed him away, her hands clenching into tight white balls. He heaved a light chuckle, "Stupid humans, weak and poor like you and your sister." He crossed his arms over his chest - he watched her face stiffen and her blood boil, "You think you can save her? Your safest option would be Dottore."
She grabbed him by his shirt, yelling, "Don't use such words towards my sister! I will NEVER send her to that Dottore..." Her voice ran low as she glared into his hidden eyes - her blood continued to boil, the urge to punch the tall man growing stronger and stronger by the minute, "I'm here to help... her. And you, sadly. I just need to find this one flower, which I saw in a book. I-It's hidden in the depths of the Abyss." She muttered under her sharp breath.
"A flower?"
She froze, realising she had spoken too loud. Her shoulders grew high, hunching towards underneath her ears, "Mhm... the petals are full of Abyssal healing powers, allegedly. But- it can be dangerous but it's the last hope I have." The thought swirled in her head, back to her sister, who laid ill in the white and red stained bed.

The eeriness of the room felt strange, the uneasy soft groaning echoing around the room. The h/c girl rested on the edge of the bed, flicking through the stacks of books she had laid on her knees, "It says if you mix these two flowers it can cure broken bones. Or, if you mix these two it can cure sore throats... I still haven't found on for chronic illnesses yet though." She muttered, her fingers gliding along the edge of the page.
The girl laying on the bed rubbed her eyes, gently coughing as she tried to sit up. "Y/N, those books look really outdated. I wouldn't bother even trying to read them..." Her hands reached out to grab a book, she held it in her hands before dropping it - her arms grew weak and sloppy due to the weight. "Ow... That really hurt." She muttered.
Y/N turned to look at her before snatching the book, "Little sis, why did you do that!? You're ill..." She started to shake her head, her eyes now looking as she opened the book her sister was holding. She huffed, reading over and over again but nothing new seemed to come through. No matter the amount of cures she read, none of them aligned with her true goal - saving for sibling for death.
But not all hope was lost, "I think I found it!" She chirped, shuffling closer towards her. "Here, the Abyssal flower. It can cure any illness and servers great power to the holder. Used with cation, it can-"
"What about the Doctor?" He asked, trying to shake her away - a weird thick feeling filled the air. It was heavy... and uneasy with tension. She let go, backing away as she stared out into the distance. Her fists stayed clenched as she watched afar, "I said I'm not going to him! Sorry. I-I just..." She paused, looking downwards onto the ground.
"..Right. Well, are you going to help me or not?"
She nodded before speaking, "Mhm. Of course, it's my duty as apart of being in the Fatui." Which she hated to admit.
"Good. I need you to go into Natlan and just act like a traveller." He said in a quiet tone. His voice seemed to grow more distant by the second, like he was disappearing in the shadows.
She paused, "What?"
He sighed, his fingers running to pinch the bridge of clothed nose, "Find information and send it back. Once I have what we've come for, we'll go back home."
"Fine fine..." A gush of wind ran through her hair as it tickled along her face. She hummed, a shaky sigh escaping her chest as the sun glared and highlighted her body.
"Good. Go ahead, take the road down their and set foot. Don't worry, you'll now where to find me." His voice grew quieter and quieter by the mere second.
"Huh? Wait, what-- ..." She turned around to look to him but he was gone. "Ugh! Stupid Mr. Emo Captain..."
She walked down the road, the sky clear as she found her feet along the path. Creatures walked the land and others flew in the bright depths above. It was calm, perfect and peaceful. Honestly, here was much better than her home - it already felt like her forever place, somewhere we could be herself without bloodshed or war. But suddenly, her thought was disturbed by a person - her hair short and white while she was decorated with a cropped outfit.
"Wha! Sorry, sorry! I didn't realise I was in the way! Oh? You don't look like your from around here..."
