Ever since Gavin came to town he was easily the most popular person at school and it wasn't even close. Nearly every girl and surprisingly most of the boys loved Gavin.
They admired him. They fainted for him. There wasn't anything inherently strange about it.
However, as time passed a group of people began to form, the "Gavin fanatics".
Unlike the regular Gavin fans who would just faint and move on with the day, the "Gavin fanatics" would faint and then want to learn more. They would try to hunt Gavin down and become his friend. The most deranged of the bunch would even try and become his girlfriend (they all failed).
As time passed, the number of Gavin fanatics steadily increased. You might think that since they all had the same goal, they would fight each other, and they frequently did. However, over time, they realized something.
No woman among them could win Gavin's heart. One by one the Gavin fanatics entered a state of despair. However, before they could all give up, they began to support each other in their hunts for Gavin's heart. It would've made sense if they continued to sabotage their competition but they didn't.
Why?
Even if they were all technically competing for the same mate they thought they could still all be friends. This was because they all had one thing in common. The thing that they all had in common was-
They all loved Gavin.
The Gavin fanatics decided even if they were all enemies in the same war they would still stand together and respect each other as fellow soldiers in the Great War for Gavin's heart. This decision of theirs is what led to the creation of the Gavin fan club.
The Gavin fan club was created as a home for the Gavin fanatics. It was a place for the most dedicated of Gavin fans to discuss Gavin news, Gavin fun facts, and Gavin mysteries. The Gavin fan club was a paradise built for true Gavin fans.
The Gavin fan club was a great success, It was easily the largest club in Spruce Tree High School. It became the largest club because of two reasons.
The first reason is obviosuly Gavin.
The second reason for the club's popularity is because of its founder and president, Isabella.
Gavin was easily the most popular boy at school but the most popular girl was Isabella. She was kind, hardworking, and most importantly she was hot. She was nowhere near Gavin's level, that was literally impossible for a non-god to achieve but she was trying her best.
Now that you know some background information let's go back to the day of the "Gavin kidnapping incident". Specifically the second period of the day.
Isabella was heading to her English class when she heard someone call her name.
"Isabella! There's a problem!" Yelled a running girl who looked like she was on the verge of exploding because of her panic.
Isabella looked over and she instantly recognized the yelling girl as a member of the Gavin fan club.
"Calm down, just tell me what's wrong" Isabella spoke in a calm and caring voice.
"GAVIN'S GONE MISSING!"
The moment Isabella heard those words it felt like her heart had been stabbed.
Isabella immediately gave up on going to English class and started sprinting to the Gavin fan club headquarters.
Once she got in to the HQ she went to a desk with a giant red button on it. Isabella slapped that button like she was an abusive husband hitting his wife. The button that she hit was the Gavin fan club emergency meeting button.
