Hello, I'm Haruka Mizushima people call me Haru for short. Life in junior high was great during my first year but I'm hoping my second year to be even better. I get to meet my first year junior they'll be my *kouhai and I'll be their *senpai I'm looking forward to it. School sport had just ended two weeks ago, I was talking to my bestfriend Mei as usual we're talking about crazy things about our favourite artists, new released songs, DVDS and she also likes talking about school event , that's when she'll never stop talking. Even if I got bored listening to her she's still the best out of the best friend I ever had. School's about to start and we went to class meeting the same face as last year. I miss my classmate so much. I'm always looking forward to meet them since last year, I'm taking an early leave because I had to go with my mother to meet my dad in London we did that every year if dad can't make it for Christmas. Class is normal like always, my homeroom teacher Mrs Koharu writes our homework on the blackboard and Mei was sitting beside me. Then, two first year students knocked on the class' front door. "Excuse us Mrs Koharu, we're asked by Miss Sara to inform your students about the choral speaking audition" said one of the girls. "Silence class we have some news here, You may speak now young lady" Mrs Koharu tried to calm us down because my class were the noisiest even though we're the honoured students." For this year Miss Sara will held an audition for the second year students who were interested in joining the choral speaking competition and those interested can give their name to her during recess, Thank you". After they announced the news the girls left and bowed to Mrs Koharu. I was looking at Mei with an excitement because finally we get to join the competition if we pass the audition. It was also rumoured that Miss Sara is a very strict English teacher. "Hey Mei, are we on it both of us let's try our best for the audition this had been our dream since last year because freshmen were not allowed to join any outside competition, this is our chance Mei" I said to Mei who's listening excitedly. "I know right, Haru we musn't let this once in a lifetime chance go away" Mei was really looking forward to it. Before we even realized it time passed by so quickly and it's recess Mei and I was planning to give our name to the teacher. We went inside the staff room and was looking for Miss Sara's table. "Good morning Miss Sara, can we apply for the audition? " We asked her politely. "Yes please, I am more than glad to accept you two Haru and Mei" she said to both of us that made us smile so big. "Thank you, Miss" after we finished talking and discussing with the teacher and off we go to have our breakfast at the cafeteria. "Cafeteria food, the same boring food everyday no wonder most students bring their own food, yuck" Mei complains about the food it's really funny listening to Mei especially her jokes which never failed to make me laugh. School's done and we're about to go home. "Goodbye then Mei, see you tomorrow and remember tomorrow evening will be the audition day" I remind Mei just in case she forgotten. "Bye, Haru see ya and don't worry I won't forget it's the day we've been looking forward to" she smiled and waved at me. Hye, guys I hope you like this chapter and Senpai means senior while kouhai means junior so there at least you learned something new *peace and I love you guys for supporting and reading my stories ;)
