I spent the rest of the night writing chicken scratch on the wall and falling asleep.
Awoken by the smashing pan, I shuffle out of bed and towards the door. A shower is needed today, pulling out a small card I check my bal. If I want food tonight I have to work in the mines or gamble..
Heading down the hallway I limp into the workers quadrant. Dragging my pickaxe down into the pit and began to move my boney hand to grip the pick. As I got my hands gripping the pick I begun to swing it against the stone. I did this until the lunch bell rung, pulling out my card, fifty points were added to my twenty originally. I'll be able to get lunch and a shower tonight along with lunch the next day. Sweet.
Walking into the lunchroom, I was then greeted by Athex.
It's nice knowing someone.
