Ch. 2: Moving on & out pt 2

The next day…

It was a slightly rainy day over the suburban neighborhood. Inside the home of the twins, Sammy was seen sleeping in the guest room. After getting home last night, She got all her stuff out of the room she was sharing with Amy, not wanting to sleep in the same room with her obnoxious twin one last time before she was going away.

She was excited to hear yesterday from her mom that her aunt made the call & approved of taking Sammy in. Sammy didn't tell Tammy about the pod and the gem, not wanting to worry or stress about further after the conflict she & Amy went through, safely heading to bed. Though while sleeping, the azure blue gem appeared in her mind & the energy that shrouded her. I didn't know what to make of it. Hopefully, it was nothing to worry about.

But unknown to Sammy, that wasn't the case….

Beeeeeeeeeep!! Beeeeeeep!! Beeeeeeep!!!

The clock's alarm went off, now 6:00 AM. Sammy groans and reaches for the clock while still in her blanket, looking for the snooze button & trying to turn it off. She would miss the button or manage to get it but it wasn't turning off as the alarm got louder. Annoyed, Sammy raised her fist to slam it on the snooze button but if she was fully awake… Sammy would have noticed when her fist slammed down on the clock, it was completely shattered to pieces.

Sammy yawned and rose from her blanket, dressed in her blue sleeveless shirt & pink night shorts, raising her arms to stretch.

Sammy: (yawns) What a night…

Sammy got out of bed, walking to the guest bathroom but stopped in the middle of the room, spotting herself in the full length mirror/closet door. Sammy couldn't help but notice something different about her. She looks at herself up & down, while she takes care of herself, was her body always this athletic? And she noticed that her curves have grown a bit more ample than they usually were as her pjs felt snug.

Weird. Maybe it was nothing, she thought. She went into the guest bathroom to freshen up for a few minutes. Later, after taking a shower and getting her stuff together, Sammy walked out of the bathroom & went for a change of clothes, she was already pack up and ready to go but she couldn't rush time even though she couldn't wait to start a new chapter in her life, she'll still call her mother & father but she's not surprised if amy would take her calls or just call her in order to boost about how the spoiled twin’s “perfect” life without Sammy to “be in the way.”

Sammy was definitely not going to call or write Amy, Amy won't miss her so why would she do the same? Amy would probably throw a party in Sammy's leaving of home but Sammy didn't care. She knows that she won't give Amy the satisfaction after what Tammy has in store for her. She heard a knock at the door.

Sammy: Come in!

The door opens to reveal Tammy.

Tammy: Hello there, Sammy. I take it you slept well?

Sammy: (smiles) Yeah Mom. It was quite a night.

Tammy: Yes. I take it you're already packed up?

Sammy: Yeah. I did all that yesterday before I went to sleep.

Tammy: Breakfast is ready. Your father went to work but he told me to tell you that he loves you & supports your choice in leaving. Also, he says to call and visit.

Sammy giggles.

Sammy: Oh I will.

Tammy: Amy already had breakfast and went back to her room. (Sighs) Her attitude problem really needs to straighten up, luckily, your father and I will tell her of the next part of her punishment.
