Taeyeon's Pov:
She slowly sank onto the bus stop bench, her body feeling heavier with every movement. The cold metal of the bench blended sharply with the warmth radiating from her skin, her head resting wearily against the metal rod behind her. Her breath came in slow, shallow puffs, each one hotter than the last, as if her body were burning from the inside. She closed her eyes, her thoughts clouded with exhaustion.
Taehyung had been busy with a high-profile photoshoot featuring Kim Seokjin, a model who had quickly grown into a celebrated actor. Taehyung's hectic schedule had been non-stop, and he had informed her that he wouldn't be able to pick her up today.
Taeyeon's thoughts drifted to Ki-joo, wishing she could call for help. But she hesitated, knowing that Ki-joo was at the same location—working as the fashion designer for the company Seokjin was modeling for. She felt a wave of frustration and feeling alone, torn between needing support and recognizing that both her best friend and her brother were consumed with their own demanding schedules. Despite her feeling alone and helpless, she didn't blame them.
The bus finally has arrived; she gathered her strength and walked slowly towards it.
To her luck, she spotted a vacant seat, and it was beside the window. She sank into it, feeling some comfort as she gazed out at the passing scenery. The rhythmic motion of the bus began to ease her exhaustion, and for the first time that day, she allowed herself a moment of rest.
