Chapter 3 Puppy Love

I woke up with Stan and the puppies curled up next to me on my bed and left with the scent of Karl's cologne "So what happened with the whole never being attracted to Karl thing?" Stan got in my face and I rolled my eyes "Shut up" I sat up realizing I was still in his hoodie I smiled softly to myself getting out of bed. He ended up leaving his clothes he wore to the picnic yesterday on the floor of course he did. I looked over to the puppies who aren't puppies anymore they're as big as Stan is, which is a tight fit on my bed" Avery, your boyyyyyfriennnnd is here!" I heard Chloe call for me and I definitely heard her dragging out the word boyfriend " Chloe shouldn't you be swapping spit with Mason or Jason or whatever twin you're dating" I rolled my eyes when I got downstairs then I heard Karl in the kitchen talking with my mom " Hey! First off it's Mason and I don't have a boyfriend! I'm not old enough..." she crossed her arms mumbling the last part " But you wished you could kiss Mason! Chloe and Mason sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G!" I sang to Chloe who found no amusement out of it while I was laughing" I'm just teasing you take a chill pill" I walked into the kitchen and seen Karl helping my mom with the dishes " Hey bae" I started blushing when he called me that " Hey" I smiled standing next to him leaning my head on his shoulder " Still wearing my hoodie I see" " Yeah and you left the clothes from the lake on my floor" " It appears I did" he chuckled softly as he finished the dishes " Hey want to head over to my place?" He asked I looked over at mom " Don't look at me you're an adult, just saying if anything happens you're responsible for your actions" " Mom we just started dating relax" I turned to Karl " Just let me get dressed and brush my hair real quick" I got in my tippy toes and planted a small kiss on his lips before I walked away he followed me out of the kitchen but stayed downstairs in the living room with Chloe, she may be a teenager now but she still has her childish ways and active imagination. I got upstairs and noticed the dogs were gone so I closed my doors and changed into Karls shorts cause all mine were dirty and I grabbed a clean shirt throwing it on holding Karls hoodie and his other clothes. When I got downstairs Karl was counting but if he miscounted Chloe would hit him " 55,56,58-Ow!" She hit him and he started rubbing the top of his head " Chloe stop abusing my boyfriend" I grabbed him off the couch and dragged him out the door not before Chloe yelled at us for being no fun " So what are we gonna do? There's not much to do in a tiny shed" I laughed at him as we walked around the front of my house to the back of his and went into his shed " Just hangout without your family bothering us" he stated closing the door and locked it pulling the curtain down " I really need to start locking that if you guys are just going to keep barging in " he laughed " You do it to us too" He pulled me into a hug before he put his hoodie on me " You look gorgeous " he wrapped a hand around my waist and placed his other hand gently on my face making me look at him, he just smiled softly at me not breaking eye contact, I looked at him I can't believe I'm dating Karl Fink after swearing I hated him for so many years, wait until Tyler finds out " I was actually working on this before we started dating but" he walked away guiding me by holding my hands " Close your eyes" he stated to I listened, he grabbed my hands putting them in front of me and putting something in my hand " Open" I opened my eyes and hugged him immedetaily" Karl I love them so much!" I almost started crying" I handmade and painted them myself, it's how I was going to ask you out" he hugged me back it was a bouquet of flowers made of screws and other metals the he welded together and painted purple, red, blue and green stems and a light blue for the holder" I love them so much" " This is what I was hiding from you the other day when you walked in" " Why where you welding without a shirt?" I asked him " I wasn't I just finished that piece and took my shirt and coveralls off because I was hit, I was just about to start painting one of the flowers " Well I love them" I sat them down the table he got them from and he kissed me catching me off guard, I wrapped my hands around his neck standing on my tip toes until he picked me up sitting me on the counter " Better?" He asked and I giggled nodding my head yes" I love you" I smiled softly leaning my head against his chest as he rubbed my back " I love you too" " How did I get so lucky" he kissed the top of my head " I want to spend the rest of my life like this" he whispered softly in my ear I kissed him passionately keeping my arms wrapped around his neck, the kiss quickly got heated as I started to unbutton his shirt sliding it off and we broke the kiss to remove my hoodie and my shirt and one thing lead to another. " Wow" he said as we were laying on a sleeping bag on the floor " That was amazing" he added on" Yeah..." I said breathing heavily we both were. I covered myself up with a blanket as it was cold and I didn't want to get up to grab my hoodie " So did you just have a pack of condoms lying around or what?" I asked him giggling" Hey I also keep some in my wallet just in case" " Wow, were you planning on doing it in a car?" I laughed at him and he rolled his eyes he got up and threw my hoodie at me " There so you're not freezing your ass off" he also threw his shorts at me " Ha ha" I sat up letting the blanket fall and threw the hoodie on and stood up putting the shorts on before laying on my stomach resting my head on his chest as he covered back up with the blanket " I love you" we said at the same time which ended up making us laugh, I ended up falling asleep, I could hear his heartbeat and feel his chest rising and lowering with each breath he took " I love you " I heard him softly say before I completely passed out
