The Phoenix
She stood before the senate Once again. Her gaze fell over the men and the women in there seats sounds of pens writing and pages turning surrounded her. And there Unfiltered thoughts broadcasted to her. Completely disgusting and Bigoted thoughts. She pressed her glasses to her closer to the bridge other nose, frustrated. " The Medical Sentinel Proposal, is Flawed and Redundant." She calmed herself steadying her voice. " The Sentinels During the 60s, were meant to Police Mutantkind, possibly even neutralize them, Your Proposal is to rework these War machines As," she took a deep inhale. " Nursing units" a chuckle laced into her words." But the science speaks for itself, Mutations don't always manifest at birth, Rather manifest later in life, sometimes in adolescence or adulthood. In some cases, never manifesting at all. So why focus on detecting mutations at birth? What is the plan for registering individuals who might never manifest their mutations?" Silence rang out, as if she caught them in a some lie or plan. Senator Kelly, let out a frustrated sigh. Raising his hands, tossing his pen to the sighed. His thoughts, indifferent to her concerns. He lifts his file and opens it pushing up his glasses.
"With all due respect Dr.Grey," he began, Damn Mutant sympathizers. Her eyebrows narrow on him. " We've started Phase One of this Project, We created seven Prototypes, they are not as large, the Size of an Average man. We placed them At schools around the country, within Three months of activity they detected four mutants." He holds up a Photo, Of a young man. One Jean had become well acquainted with for the past three months. "John Allerdyce, who can control fire" He must have been enrolled shortly after. The senator pulls that photo down revealing another familiar face "Robert Drake, who manipulates cold and ice" two months ago, he enrolled for fear of his parents finding out about his mutation, now she understood why. Another photo revealed to be young lady this time. "Anna Marie D'ancanto, she has an active gene but was never identified." Two weeks ago, she was Brought to the school with another Mutant only known as Logan. The final picture revealed another Young man "And Elliot Murdock, whose gene was inactive but reacted with hostility. He fled before registration", he layed his heads back on the desk in front of him. " This is why we need a Program like this. To Identify Those Who May OR MAY NOT, Dr. Gray, Become a threat in the future. Now I don't know about you but I Care about the safety of the American people.".
"Senator Kelly, They are also Americans, they are our people to protect as well". The air Of frustration hung in her voice, there was one thing she knew for sure was that they saw Mutant Kind as not theirs to protect. Her Mind turns back to the poor children forced into hiding, Children made into a statistic, Children thrown into a system they not only saw them as a threat but less than another life. Children now living in Fear, Isolated from a world that they once knew. She understood this feeling all too well. All who ended up at Xavier's School for the gifted knew this feeling. And now more were to be inflicted with it. She knew if this was their plan now, that this Project if continued unchecked would only divide them further.
We are one more bad day, to becoming the enemy again.
Jean. Compose yourself
Her eyes Glanced up zooming into the crowd where eyes meet the blue of the professors in the gallery above. She felt him flood her mind, with a sense of calm. She took a deep breath, centering herself from the emotions she was feeling before.
We will find them, we will find all of them.

The Xmen
Their eyes were all fixated on the screen above them. Playing footage from each sentinel unit stationed at schools all over the east coast of the United states. They watched as each child was escorted violently away from their classmates. Johnny thrashed, pulled and screamed as he was pulled away in the crowd. thinking back now, if there were at all any open flames it could have ended very badly. Bobby didn't fight back. He calmly followed the unit away from the crowd. Marie had put up a good fight as well before calming, realizing there was no reason to fight back. None had Broken free except for one, A Red Haired Young man, he was small for a highschool student, could barely be older than 14. He flinched before the Unit had taken him captive. Shouting "I'm Not a Mutant" desperately at the top of his lungs as he pulled and thrashed trying to free himself. Another boy, with brown hair and glasses rushed to his side latching onto his friend, desperately trying to pull him free. Somehow his efforts helped, as the red-haired boy slipped from the grip of the unit and fled into the crowd of terrified students.
"These Poor children..." Ororo words were woven with a sadness that most of them could understand, similar things happened to most of them. "Play it back one more time, on the last one-" Scott took the remote in hand and rewinded the footage. " One of them bent the metal." He turned down the speed. even in the hecticness of the situation, the Brown Haired boy struggled to pull his friend back but his hand slipped in between the fingers of the unit and the arm of his friend. Pulling the finger back freeing his friend from its grip and escaping. " See."
Logan's eyes narrowed on the footage, " So, The other set off the sensor and he is actually the Mutant" a valid point, however. " Not possible," Jean interrupted. "His friend wasn't near him when the Sensor went off, But if he was a Mutant. He also would have been detected as well" A silence fell on her in what appeared to be mid thought. Her head turned back to the professor " What is a mutate?" he only smiled at the mild intrusion. "A mutate is someone who develops a mutation they weren't born with. It alters the genes superficially rather than integrating into them. If the sensors work the way we think, they wouldn't pick up a mutate."
" Okay, so One of them is a mutant, and the other a mutant not so mutant, who are they anyway?" Logan's voice laced with both impatience and irritation. "They never Registered him, that can't without Proper testing and the mutant being present." Scott began, " His name is Elliot Murdock, He lives in Bushwick, New York with his Mother Lisa Murdock and his Uncle Mathew Murdock. Both reported him missing 24 hours after the incident, he never went home. Now the other...the.. Mutate?" Scott nodded, gaining confidence in the word " Peter Parker, from Queens, New York. The Boys Apparently are Childhood friends."
"Let's cut to the chase. Can't you use that helmet to locate him?" Logan folded his arms, his gaze falling on Charles. "Cerebro," Scott interjected, while also looking at Charles, " the question still stands. "Well , you see," Charles cut through the four with his chair. " I've already tried. Something is blocking me from a direct location. However, I've detected him between Buffalo, New York and Stevensville, Ontario. I would like to speak to his loved ones. Scott, I'd like you to accompany me. You three, I'd like you to try to find him.
" Three?" Logan's head tilted down with a huff " there's no you three, I'm not babysitting." Charles glanced up to him with a smile ,"well, you've been stuck in the mansion for a couple of weeks now, you could get some fresh air. When we're back, we can have a session. How does that sound?" Logans jaw clenched, looking at Ororo and Jean back to Charles. Letting out a reluctant
"Fine.."
