I was a problem kid, always. I would steal, get bad grades and smoke. My mom who was an artist didn't appreciate my behaviour. We lived in New York and were at meeting with psychologist. I was drawing on my hand and didn't pay any attention, while my mom was telling she would leave for work for longer time. Where would i stay? My mom didn't tell me anything and it was summer break. She ten revealed that i would stay with her childhood best friend and her family... wait i was not.

Later, at home, my mom was calling her friend while i was packing my things. I was going to Canada, but i wasn't happy about it. My mom drove me to airport and said goodbye. When i landed, I saw family holding a sign with my name on it. Everyone seemed happy. The woman introduced herself as Hannah and introduced her husband, Mark, and her daughter, Zoe.
"My son Dante couldn't make it, he has surfing competitions. We will be going there, cmon" Hannah said and started to walk to car. When we were riding it was quiet. No one even asked questions.
"Do you like surfing" Zoe, the little girl asked.
"No. i don't" i replied to her. She smiled and whispered "Good, everyone here is talking only about surfing it's tiring" she explained. She was looking out the window. I need to get out of this town. Quickly. We made it to the beach and everyone went their way. Last thing i heard was 'see you around'. I walked in direction of bus stop when i bumped into someone,
"sorry" the word slip from my mouth.
"Hey, i didn't catched you around, what's your name?" the blonde girl asked.
"Maya" i replied quickly.
"nice to meet you, i'm Kaja"
