We grew a little taller
Our imagination shrunk a little smaller
Our childhoods are now past and memories
And we don't feel like we live in stories
The world became clearer
And we became older
We sliped away in the ticks of time
And we are now no longer nine
We used to play until dusk would aproach
Now we sit on phones, or holding a remote
We used to never think about work
As it seemed so absurd
Now its all we hear of
As its what we have to focus on
It I could go back
I would not slack
I would play
All day everyday
Just like how i did
When I was a kid
