"You must seek forgiveness."
The villager looks at the traveler, lost in his ghostly gaze
"How can one forgive if all they want is revenge?"
"Revenge will only bring guilt, and with guilt comes pain."
"But all I feel is pain, they deserve to feel my wrath!" the young drenched man shouts
"They deserve to be forgiven."
"Those who hurt one should be hurt themselves!"
The traveler stares at the young villager, his eyes sting with the sorrow of pain
"The process of forgiving takes time, but with time will bring healing. One day you'll forgive them, not out of sorrow but because in the process of forgiving, you'll be able to cut your chains and be freed of your past."
"No one can run away from their past."
