Judging from where you find this, Karina, I'm sure you've already guessed that this was a recent note added into this confession book and yes, your guess is right. I heard about Ollie's suicide and your speech, it was all up on the news and it's still up on the news as I'm writing this, someone from your school put it on live and thanks to them, I can see my daughter's coffin.
I'm not gonna leave any more details of information because I know I'm gonna get caught today. As I've reached this part, I'm putting on my black tank and grey shorts. A thought popped in my mind, 'What if I caught up to you and the police?' 'Wouldn't things finally end if I surrender?' Honestly, I'm glad I finally have the courage to surrender.
At least, a death penalty would be a nice atonement for my sin, don't you think? Hm. My note to you is I'm really sorry for the pain I've caused you and have caused others. While I'm sorry, I also want to state that for a good reason, I'm kind of happy your parents died because if they didn't the story wouldn't end like this. I guess this might be a happy ending as we would all rest in peace.
Now to the police, I've never been on the run, you guys never bothered to do your job efficiently because you thought it's a 'cold' case that had already gone colder than Antarctica and there was much more important things at hand, like the town leader's family murder. I know the same methods of killing are similar to mine but it's not me. Another one of me is on the loose. And you have to stop it or him or she or whatever that person is.
Now you may be wondering why I'm writing this in this book instead of saying it in the interrogation room but this is solely because I get embarrassed easily and hence won't be able to say anything.
To the public, I'm deeply sorry for the loss I've caused you, I know the pain you're going through or what you went through during my reign is hard to bear but I hope you find it in your heart to forgive me. I won't object you voting in favor of my death (not like I would have any say in it anyway)
And to myself, DIE. I can not forgive you for what you've did. I can't forgive me and I can't forgive the devil either but now it feels good to know that I'll also suffer in hell like the hell my victims went through so I'm kind of relieved....

"What the hell?!" The driver cursed as the car came to a screeching halt, "Old man, 60's 70's, grey pants, black tank, pen and notebook in hand." The driver diligently reported to Officer Johnson.
"Odd one." Officer Johnson commented as he stared at the man through his windshield. He studied the man before asking me and Mrs. lovelace, "Look familiar?"
At the same time, me and Mrs. lovelace poke out head so the man could be visible to us and in unison, we asked out loud, "Mr Richardson Weakbone?!"
"Oh...the dude." Officer Johnson calmly replied. He reached into his pocket and pulled out his transceiver, "Suspect in sight, back up needed."
With that, he jumped out of the back seat and pointed a gun at the principal.
"No! Don't bother yourself," the principal gave a nervous laugher, "I-I come in peace!"
Unbelievable.
Was what Officer Johnson thought.
"If you came in peace, what's that in your hand?" another police officer inquired, appearing from behind the principal.
"Oh, this?" The principal glanced at his hand. Raising it up, he laughed again, "this is just a pen and notebook."
"For?"
"Recording details. I wanted Miss Karina to find this but something came up, so I had to carry it with me."
"Contents?"
"Confession."
"Handing it over?"
"Yes, after the interrogation, I plan to hand it over." He smiled, "so are you gonna come handcuff me or should I come to you?"
I just watched the whole interaction from the car and listened through the rolled down window and thought to myself, 'This man sounds arrogant, almost as if he has no remorse.'
..........
I couldn't remember the rest cause I had a headache and slept off. I opened my eyes to the principal weeping.
"So you're saying you did it cause you were possessed by the devil?" A female officer raised an eyebrow, not believing one crap he was saying.
"Yes! If not, why would I do something like that?!" the principal retorted, sharply rising only to be stopped by his chained legs.
"....." the woman uttered a soundless judgement as her brow rose further, "So you think you're not some deranged psycho who did this stuff for fun and for the thrill and power attached to killing?"
"Of course not! I'm sure the devil took hold of me!" the principal cried. "Anyways, can we skip over it? The devils talks aren't all that pleasing to talk about."
The woman furrowed her brow, sensing his remorseless demeanor, but she chuckled it off. "So what's more pleasing to talk about?" she asked with sarcasm.
"Death." he boldly answered, irking me and the lady. Sensing our disdain, he quickly clarified, "not the murders I committed but if I would get the death penalty.
The lady glared at him for a moment before answering, "I don't know yet...but I hope you get the death penalty, you damned coot!"
Saying that, she saw herself out the room.
The man with a evil grin opened his notebook and scribbled in it "...After all, I'm just another one that'll bite the dust. The dust that my victims have turned into. What am I even saying? I'm not even thinking right....Am I a psychopath?" which he read out loud.
He abruptly turned to meet my gazem he gave a sweet but every smile before saying, "bye-bye little girl."

A/N: The chapter prompt 'Another One Bites the Dust was used in the second to the last paragraph where the principal, Sir Richardson Weakbone explained that he was just another one that will bite the dust, meaning he was just another one of 'them' that was going to die. 'Them' being the evil people like serial killers.
If you haven't voted all chapter until now, please make sure to do that as it motivates me. Also, please leave your comments on area you think could have done better, I'd love to know. Thank you in advance :D
