Shelby's POV
I began packing my stuff, because my parents decided that we are moving to Colorado.
I toke down all my posters, and pictures. Packed all my clothes and blankets. Everything else was done.
The only thing I had out of boxes was my speaker, phone, and computer.
I put my phone on my speaker and shuffled my music. I sat on the floor, opened my laptop, and called my best friend, Abby.
"Hey Abby!" I yelled waving my arms all over.
"Shelby!! I'm going to miss u!" She yelled sadly.
"I'm going to miss u too. I just am scared, you know I have never moved before." I said messing with my fingers.
"It will be okay. I'm always here to talk to you know." She laughs.
"I know but it's not the same." I said whining.
"Sorry Shelby I have to go, talk to u when u get there. bye love you!" She said waving and hanging up.
I sigh and shut my computer.
I can't leave my best friend! Why do we have to move? There's no reason! Colorado really? Can't it be like California or something better? I hope there's cute boys there!
"Shelby! Get ready to go, we're leaving soon!" My Dad yelled from down stairs.
"ok!" I said sighing and standing up.
I walked to my bathroom and brushed out my hair and threw it into a ponytail. I had a pair of Nike shorts and A Florida Georgia Line (country band) shirt on. Put a pair of Nike shoes on, And I was ready.
I put my computer and speaker in a box, grabbed my headphones and purse and headed down stairs. To leave my favorite place.
"I'm ready!" I yelled walking down stairs.
The movers came in a grabbed all the boxes and stuff. Me and my parents got in our car and started our way to Colorado.
Most of the time I just listened to music. I love all kinds, it helps me bond with other people.
5 hours later (I don't know where they lived before just go with it)
We finally got to what ever kind of hell place this is. We have about 5 minutes before we arrived at the house.
I hope I get a big room, my parents are giving me money to go shopping for new stuff for my room. I'm really happy about that, my room is were I spend most of my time.
"K guys the house is right, um, THERE!" My mom said pointing to the window. My mouth dropped open.
"Oh my gosh. That's our new house!?!" I said getting all excited.
"Ya! I did not want to tell u that is was that big because I want it to be a surprise." she said stepping out of the car that is now parked.
It was a 3 level White House, that had a porch and a amazing garden.
I ran in side with my purse and phone.
OH MY GOD! This is amazing! I ran back outside.
"Mom what room is mine!?!" I said jumping up and down.
"What ever one u want besides the master that me and your dads. Pick one and the other will be guests." She said smiling.
I ran back inside and straight up the stairs. I have to have a up stairs room so I can play load music.
I tripped on like 50 stepped but whatever.
I saw a short hallway and 3 doors on the sides. I walked to the first and opened the white door with gold handle. It was a bathroom with white walls. There was another door but I just shrugged it of and walk out of that room.
I closed the door and walked to the next door. I toke a deep breath hopping it was a big room for me.
I slowly pushed the handle down and pushed the door. I walked in with my eyes closed tight. I opened them and saw a huge room with a large window and 2 doors.
"Mom this is mine!!" I yelled.
I started jumping up and down. I'm so happy this is my room. What color will the walls be? We're would I put my bed? We're should I put my posters at?
I stopped thinking and walked to the first door on the left. I opened it and walked in, it was a closet with a body mirror. I walked out and to the next door to the right. It went to the bathroom I was in earlier.
4 hours later....
Everything was moved in, I went to get stuff for my room, and I had been painting my wall a light gray.
My comforter is teal and peach chevron. After the paint was dry I put everything up. It looked amazing!
I hopped on the shower and put my PJs on and fell on my bed and fell asleep.
