" Not now. " I said, begining to walk off. " I need to get to class "

They nodded, putting something in my hand before walking off the opposite way.

I stood there for a second, pocketing the object and going on my merry way. I tried my best to not think about the conversation much, at least for right now, though something gave me an errie feeling as I stopped near the center of the rotunda.

I looked up, seeing as Xaden, Garrick, and Bohdi all sat at the ledge of the stairs, looking like vultures out for their next meal to a lot of people probably. I rolled my eyes, turning down the hall.

' So intimidating '

I made my way to the newest class that was added to my schedule, dragon kind, which was led by professor Kario. I stepped into the room, taking a seat with my section near the first row of chairs.

" Hey Alyona! Ready to learn about some dragons? " Sawyer said, semi enthusiastic, which honestly I got. Must suck to have to take this class again. It probably sucked to have to redo this whole thing again.

I shrugged, leaning back in my seat a bit more, the rest of our squad and the other two squads fileing into the large room, taking their own seats. There was a bit of chatter that filled the room before Professor Kario stepped into the room, the brightness of the lights going darker.

" Quiet please everyone " Kario said, the room soon quieted down as everyone focused on him. " Today we will be discussing the dragons that you will have a chance to bond with during threshing this year "

It was well known knowledge about professor Karios signet, that which his dragon Smachd channels to him, making it so he could project his thoughts into hologram type things.

He expanded his hands, a 3D hologram of a green dragon showing up, though about 10x smaller than the actual thing.

" First up is a green dragon, knows to be the most reasonable of the dragons. " He explained, going into how to approach them with the best possibility of not getting scorched to death.

He continued onto the next dragon, a red daggertail coming up next. I looked at each and every one of them, examining how it looked like the scales glimmered.

We went through the brown dragons and finally we got to the blue dragon, a hologram of Sgyeal coming up.

" This year there are no blue dragons looking to bond, but you all should be able to recognize sgyeal around the area. " Kario said, the hologram rotating in a circle as he continued explaining.

" What about the black dragon? " Someone from the other squad asked, gaining a lot of the others attention.

" I want that one " Jack said, a snarky look on his face.

Professor Kario did a small nod, a hologram of a black dragon showing up, though somehow this hologram was bigger than the others had been.

" There is one black dragon that we know of in the vale, though he hasn't been seen in many years since the death of his first rider, and hasn't been willing to bond in the past few years."

There were a few oo's and ahh's said as everyone examined the dragon, and yea he was magnificent.

" So why don't you just ask him why?" Jack said, still as snarky as ever, though his face was like an inch away from the hologram.

" Dragons don't talk to anyone who isn't their bonded rider, and don't like to share their choices to us. " Kario said, putting his hands together, the hologram disappearing before us.

The class concluded with that, though I watched as Violet stayed behind for some reason. I shrugged, turning back around to head out into the hall, others starting to fill it up as they exited their own classes. I slip my hand into the hidden pocket of my uniform, reminding myself of the object that I was given an hour ago.
