"I am here!"

Before the class stood the tall and powerful pro-hero famously known as All Might, Japan's number one hero. His stance was firm and radiated confidence as his hands rested on his hips while a wide toothy grin was plastered across his face.

"I can't believe it's really All Might!"

"So he is a teacher!"

"This year is gonna be amazing!"

Great, all of my classmates are obsessed with this guy.

I wasn't exactly the biggest fan of the well-known hero. Although I did admire how much he contributed to our society, he could be... quite bothersome.

The man cleared his throat before quieting the excited group of students around me, "Welcome to the most important class at UA High. Think of it as 'Heroing 101.' You will be learning the basics of what it's like being a pro. And what it means to fight in the name of good! Let's get into it!"

I forgot how much he talks.

I sighed as I rested my chin in the palm of my hand, staring out the window beside me and watching the clouds float in the bright blue sky as I was uninterested. I already had an idea of what was to come for today's lesson, not caring to pay close attention as he explained, "Today's lesson will pull no punches!"

The hotheaded boy who sat behind me straightened up as his attention was peeked by the older male's words, developing a mischievous but excited grin, "Fight training."

The freckled boy who sat behind Bakugo frowned in worry, mumbling out in surprise, "Real combat?"

"But one of the keys of being a hero is..."

All Might motioned his hand over to the wall, multiple capsules that had been labeled with large green numbers sliding out, "...looking good!"

I turned my head back around to study the many capsules, humming as a smile tugged at the corner of my lips.

Now we're talking.

Timeskip

After changing into our personalized costumes we were expected to gather outside to meet up with All Might at Training Ground Beta. I couldn't help but feel a bit nervous for others to see, afraid I'd get laughed at or ridiculed. When I had to sketch out the layout of the costume I had tried my best to submit a cool but versatile design so it would be flexible when it came to using my quirk.

I wore a tight black sleeveless shirt that had a hood and a pair of baggy black cargo pants. I bent over making sure I had tightened the laces of my black combat boots well and adjusted my belt. I wasn't used to wearing revealing clothing, a sleeveless shirt definitely bringing me out of my comfort zone.
