Eclipse
It's the first day of school again. Yesterday I sat in the cafe with Max for hours and it was really great. Tired, I walk onto the school grounds and to the locker. Someone hugs me from behind and gives me a kiss on the cheek.
I know it's too hasty. We hardly know each other at all and we've had something once. We'll try dating first and then see how it goes. I don't really have much hope because my consumption has ruined everything so far. But I'm trying to stop.
I smile and look at Max. "Morning, Handsome. Let's go to class." He agrees, we go in and sit down. I don't look like that I'm doing drugs. Actually, I'm a real nerd here.
The teacher briefly introduces Max and we start the lesson. Bored, I suck on my lollipop and lick it. Someone is watching me. I look to the side and notice that it is Max sitting opposite me.
I slowly lick the lollipop and just as slowly push it into my mouth. He turns red and looks away. I have to giggle and then write down. Of course I know what that looked like. It's fun to tease him. I look over briefly and he's still slightly red.
Max's eyes meet mine and I grin. I gently wipe my finger across my lips and lick it. I giggle and pay attention again and let the hours pass by. The bell rings and I go into the break relaxed. Max is talking to a gang that everyone here knows. They only cause trouble. What does he have to do with them?
I lean against the wall and smoke a cigarette. Someone comes over to me and I look up. It's Edin. He's in our parallel class and goes to a few of my classes. "So you're trying out the new guy?" he asks and I nod. We're pretty good friends, so I'm not surprised he asks.
"Don't you think it's too early? And what does he have to do with that idiot gang?" I just shrug my shoulders and Max comes over to us. I smile at him and he smiles too. Edin disappears and Max pins me to the wall. I slowly look up at him. "If I were you, I wouldn't act like that in class." I grin and chew on my bottom lip.
