It has been a week since Amrit started staying at Ishita's house. During this time, they had grown quite close, forming a bond that was undeniably strong.

But still, Ishita found herself pulling away. Deep down, she knew that Amrit's heart belonged to someone else, and this knowledge kept her from getting too close.

She couldn't allow herself to develop feelings for him when she knew he was in love with another.

Amrit was aware of this change in Ishita's behavior. He understood why she was keeping her distance.

He didn't want to hurt her, but the conversation they had about his family had brought all his painful memories flooding back. Memories of what his so-called family had done to him.

He believed no woman would want to marry a man burdened by such a past. Despite his desire to keep Ishita in his life, he knew his past would only bring her suffering.

He wanted to give her a happy life after marriage, free from his painful memories and the burdens of his family.

But Amrit was torn between his duty and his heart. He had taken an oath to never marry and to reclaim the throne that he believed rightfully belonged to Rudraveer Singh Chauhan.

The weight of his childhood trauma made him fearful that getting closer to Ishita would only bring her pain.

He knew his unresolved past would affect her deeply.

Since that night, there had been no physical contact between them. Ishita continued to take care of him with dedication, and day by day, Amrit's health was improving.

It's been a week since we played truth and dare. Every time I am near Amrit, I feel guilty, like I'm infringing on someone else's right.

I do like Amrit, but I refuse to be the other woman. I won't let him betray the girl he loves with me. I wouldn't want any girl to curse me for stealing her lover.

So, I've kept my distance. We sleep in the same bed, but once he falls asleep, I move to the sofa, returning to bed before he wakes up.

I've been taking good care of him, and he's recovering well. Still, I don't let him leave the house during the day.
