JOHNNY WASNT THE biggest fan of Monday afternoons because it meant leaving school at two pm and needing to be at Karate for four pm — which didn't really give him much time to get changed or do like anything in between.

Right now Kreese was letting him take the class; instructing them on jab punches.

That was until the class bowed and he noticed a familiar face at the back, Daniel Fucking LaRusso.

How dare he show his face in Cobra Kai again? Did he forget what happened last time?

After Johnny was done, Sensei Kreese instructed the class to fall in, needing to ask Johnny was his problem was when his attention was not focused on him, rather on the boy and old man at the back.

"That's the guy who jumped us on halloween Sensei, he gave me this black eye" Johnny whispered to his mentor, causing Kreese to strut over to the pair.

Towering over Mr Miyagi with the Corbas in tight behind him, Kreese crossed his arms over his chest and said, "My student here tells me you attacked him"

"I afraid facts are mixed up" Mr Miyagi spoke in his accent, clearly not fully grasped the English language just yet.

Taken aback, Kreese was ready to pounce on the small man there and then for mearly disagreeing, "Are you calling Mr Lawrence a liar?"

"No call no one nothing!" All of the Cobras where shocked, no one had ever answered Kreese back unless it was to abide to him.

After a while, the two senseis made a deal; No beating on Daniel until the tournament.

But before Daniel could leave, Johnny marched away from Kreese and grabbed the collar of his shirt, "Oh one more thing. If you go anywhere near Rosie, I won't hesitate to break the deal, and your neck Larusso"

The rest of the class (except Kreese) couldn't hear what Johnny was saying but they sorta understood that it was more than likely a threat to his life.

ONCE KARATE WAS over Johnny drove himself away; complete enraged. Why the hell would Daniel think it was okay to bring his grandfather to threaten them in their territory?

With Guns N' Roses blasting, Johnny drove definitely over the speed limit with only two people in mind; Daniel and Rosette.

To some extent, Johnny knew Rosie wouldn't touch Daniel with a 10 foot pole but there was always a chance — and he had to make sure that chance was eliminated.

He wanted to see Rosie, more than anything. But he was over one hundred percent positive that Rosie would slap him.

He pulled up to his safe heaven; the beach.

Johnny thought back to the last time he was here — completely drunk in a mess and with Rosie.

For some reason — one that he did not quite know — Rosette was kind to him that night. She even invited him to get coffee with her!

Sometimes, in times like these, Johnny wished it would've been different — he wished they maybe could've met differently and never started the god awful feud that they had.

The boy knew he was the one who feuled the hatred she had for him, constantly annoying her. But he always did like the attention she gave him; being the only one to ever argued back with him.

Running a hand through his hair, placing himself down on the sunlounger Johnny sighed.

Some part of him wished Rosie would walk down the beach and place herself down next to him, scream and shout about how much she hated him.

He needed to hear it, he needed to feel all the built up anger the girl had in her body towards him. He needed it because he needed this newfound fixation to go away.

Johnny took the bag of green and the packet of skins out of his pocket, swiping his finger across them, remembering when Rosie had done what he was just about to do.

It didn't take him long to roll the joint and light it, loving the taste that had filled his mouth with every draw.

ROSIE KNEW EXACTLY where she was headed, she was sick of her mothers constant comments. Rosie's mother only hated her because she was everything her mother could never be (and also the fact that she was far too much like her father).

Pulling into the side street beside the beach, she began to walk down. Huffing when she noticed an all familiar mop of blonde hair.

But deep down, she was happy to have his company — even if it meant an argument starting between them. Atleast she'd have someone who'd give her enough thought to argue with her.

Without any words spoken, Rosie placed herself on the sunlounger next to Johnny. And even though Johnny wanted to protest and tell her to go away; he didn't say anything, letting the comfortable silence indulge the pair.

Holding the joint out to pass it to the girl, Rosie took it with a light tipped smile.

Both were unsure on what was going on. Why they were being so kind to eachother. But they both knew that on some level, the other was upset.

Neither knew what their friendship was — if you could even call it that.

When it was just they two, on nights like this, it was almost perfect. They could sit in silence together for hours and just appreciate the comforting presence.

But that all changed when it became day time. They went back to hating eachother; even if they weren't very good at doing so anymore.

Rosie handed the joint back to Johnny, not removing her gaze from his blue eyes, was he always this beautiful?. "What are you doing here Johnny?"

There was a certain innocent laced within her tone — almost like she cared.

"I could ask you the same thing" Rosie could've guessed he'd say something like that. But unlike usual it wasn't rude or snarky, he clearly just didn't want to talk about it.

The silence clouded back over them as Rosie nodded in understanding; she didn't want to pry.

"Do you think if we met differently, maybe we could've ended up as friends?" Rosie's voice was almost a whisper, but Johnny heard it nevertheless.

Taking a deep inhale of the weed, the boy sighed, "Well we can't do it differently, and quite frankly I don't want to. Id even go as far to say I look forward to our bickering"

Oh.

"Yeah. Me too. Goodnight John" Rosie wasn't sure why she was upset with his response but it hurt her feeling that he would never wanna be her friend — For some odd reason.

Without another word, Rosie stood up and walked off making Johnny place his head into his hands; understanding that he'd pissed her off and for the first time ever, he was not happy about it.

"Fuck!" He muttered, taking the last draw of the joint before throwing it into the sand and looking off into the water.

He'd fucked up again.
