Sahay looked around at his friends, a sly grin spreading across his face. "Guys, I have something to say. But before you all start asking questions, we'll tell you all in the break."
As he said "we'll", he glanced at Hritvi, his eyes sparkling with a proud yet jokey smile. Hritvi returned the smile, her eyes shining with amusement.
The group fell silent, curiosity etched on every face. Aatirah's eyes narrowed, her gaze flicking between Sahay and Hritvi. She leaned in, her voice barely above a whisper. "Hritvi, what's going on? You're being weird."
Hritvi just shook her head, her smile growing wider. "Wait till break, Aatirah. All will be revealed."
Tahir frowned, his eyes fixed on Sahay. "What's this about, Sahay? You're killing us with suspense."
Sahay chuckled, his eyes glinting with mischief. "All in good time, my friends. All in good time."
The bell rang, signaling the end of the period. As they packed up their bags, the group couldn't stop speculating about Sahay's announcement. Aatirah cornered Hritvi, demanding answers, but Hritvi just laughed and promised to spill the beans at break.
The anticipation was palpable, and the group couldn't wait to hear what Sahay and Hritvi had in store for them.
IN THE BREAK
Sahay and Hritvi exchanged a knowing look, their smiles growing wider. "So, are you guys in?" Sahay asked, his eyes sparkling with excitement.
The group nodded, their faces set with determination. "We're in," Tahir said, his voice firm.
"Good," Hritvi said, a sly grin spreading across her face. "Because we've already started making plans."
Kamika's eyes widened. "What kind of plans?"
Hritvi leaned in, a conspiratorial look on her face. "We've got a whole itinerary planned out. We'll be visiting some amazing places, trying new foods, and even taking part in some adventure activities."
The group erupted into excited chatter, their minds racing with the possibilities. Sahay and Hritvi sat back, satisfied smiles on their faces, knowing they'd made the right decision in planning this trip.
"Part of the plan is to take a break from our usual routines and try something new. Take break from the school chaos, and we can't forget how hard our Golden Duo had worked and suffered the same amount of pain during the last few weeks." Sahay explained, his eyes shining with enthusiasm. Everyone looked at Kamika and Karthik while they just looked at them with awkward smiles
"Like what?" Aatirah asked, her curiosity piqued, and to also cut the awkwardness in the air.
Hritvi grinned mischievously. "We'll be going on a road trip to the mountains, and then we'll be trying our hand at camping."
The group gasped in unison, their faces filled with a mix of excitement and trepidation.
"Camping?" Tahir repeated, his voice laced with skepticism. "Are you guys serious?"
Sahay nodded, his expression deadpan. "Totally serious. We'll be roughing it, just like the pros."
Kamika's eyes widened. "But what about our phones? And what if we get lost?"
Hritvi waved her hand dismissively. "We'll have a map, and we'll be together. We'll figure it out."
The group fell silent, their minds racing with the prospect of venturing into the unknown.
"Alright, alright," Sahay said, holding up his hands in surrender. "We get it. Camping might not be everyone's cup of tea. How about we compromise?"
Hritvi's eyes sparkled with excitement. "I know just the thing. Let's go to a hill station instead!"
The group's faces lit up with excitement. "Yes! That sounds perfect!" Aatirah exclaimed.
"Exactly," Hritvi said, nodding. "We can just relax, chillax, and enjoy the scenic views. No stress, no worries."
Tahir grinned. "Now that's what I'm talking about. A relaxing getaway with friends."
Kamika smiled, her eyes shining with excitement. "I can already imagine us sipping hot chocolate, surrounded by misty mountains and lush green forests."
Sahay chuckled. "You're getting ahead of yourself, Kamika. But yeah, it'll be a blast. We can take long walks, have deep conversations, and just enjoy each other's company."
The group nodded in agreement, their faces filled with anticipation. A hill station retreat sounded like the perfect way to unwind and recharge.
