Blood Au (Beyblade burst)

Day ten: Wakiya no longer

    Day ten, not much different from other days, we woke up and it was time for out morning brief. The same routine as always.

    "Mangy mutt!"

    "Hey bud!"

    "Ken, heel!"

    The door opened and Shu looked up to see as normal, Rantaro annoying Valt as Wakiya and Daigo tortured Ken. It was nothing new, he just sighed and sat down, everyone followed.

    "Ken..." The half-wolf piped up, "Can you make breakfast today?"

    "Yes sir!" He was off, was probably going to use it as an opportunity to devour a bit of raw meat while cooking. Shu sighed as Wakiya shifted closer to him and starts his worthless flirting acts again. He put a hand on Shu's shoulder tracing out the soft muscle beneath it with as he talked to him in a light and seductive (not to anyone in the room) voice.

    "Done!" Ken announced a bit of blood on his clothes signifying he definitely took some raw meat "Alright, bring it here."

    He brought out the plates, sandwiches with ketchup splatered all over them...hopefully.

    "This better not be blood," Wakiya warned, "Nah, the only one with actual blood on it is mine," Ken bit into his sandwich happily as Wakiya glared for a bit. Valt stared at the sandwich, a mixture of disgust and annoyance on his face.

    "Something wrong bud?" Rantaro asked tilting his head, "No," Valt stood up, "I just don't feels hungry."

    He backed away from the table, Wakiya taking a bite from his sandwich and immediately spiting it out then turning to Ken annoyed.

    "This is blood!" He started his kicks and punches, not holding a single one back the half-wolf on the other hand enjoyed it as Wakiya hit him mercilessly. Valt sighed and went to his room, he remembered when Wakiya couldn't do anything more than get mad at people then sulk the whole time, even Ken couldn't look at blood without fainting and yet now, here they were one getting tortured and the other being a fucking masochist about it...when did they all fall apart like this?

    Already knowing the answer Valt flopped onto his bed and put a hand over his head watching the fan roll slowly, each time it passes over the light was like a reminder this wasn't a dream...it wasn't a nightmare either, it was all real. That's the only difference.

    A soft knock at his door disturbed his thoughts as he looked at it.

    "Come in," The door opened and with soft padded steps, Shu walked in and sat on the edge of the bed.

    "You need to go somewhere with Wakiya, Valt," He looked up at his best friend, the two of them being the only two that held onto their sanity, "Why? Can't I just go alone?"

    "He knows the way Valt, you don't."

    "Can't he go on his own then? Why do I have to go on missions with people I can't call my friends anymore?" Valt complained, he was getting annoyed of the people he lived around, "I know it's hard Valt but if Naoki-"

    "And tell me, when does he plan to come back with the results?"

    "I...I don't know."

    "I just want them to be normal Shu, why did we have to remain the same? Even if it meant being deranged killers...I just wanna be able to smile again."

    "I know, me too," Shu gently placed Valt's head on his lap as he started to brush his hair softly, "Today's our one year anniversary you know?" Valt sniffed and managed a smile just like Shu, "I can't believe you still keep track of that."
