Gulf has been calling his Phi for more than an hour by now, but his Phi has not picked his call, not even a text saying why he could not pick it. Generally, Gulf would not bother his Phi if he did not pick his call but the situation which Gulf is facing now is a special one. So, Gulf desperately wanted to get in touch with his Phi. Someone got the wind of Gulf and Dara's breakup and there are wild rumors spreading about both him and his Phi. People are saying stuff like how Gulf was two timing Dara with his Phi and that Dara had found out and that is why she broke up with him. There were some nasty comments popping up here and there and Gulf tried to handle it without his Phi, but things got out of hand and he could not tolerate it anymore. Gulf came to his Phi's condo to see him as his Phi had said that he would be hanging out with his friends in his condo. But after reaching there Gulf realized that his Phi is not home and that the location might have been changed last minute. His Phi is meeting with his other friends for the day and Gulf knows generally his Phi did not like to be disturbed when he is hanging with them, especially Phi Tul and Phi Singto, this trio is close however he knows that his Phi and Phi Tul are closer to each other. Gulf sometimes sulked over this fact, that he might not be his Phi's favorite Nong after all, that it is Phi Tul. He knows they are friends' way before him, but that does not lessen the sting of jealousy though. Gulf is not the kind of person that get jealous but then when it comes to his Phi, things does not seem to work the same or normal in any way.
Fortunate for Gulf, there are not much people on the floor his Phi lived so no one saw him lurking around his Phi's condo. After much speculation Gulf decided to call Phi Singto, hoping that he would pick the call in the least, since it is very rare that Gulf called any of his Phi's friends. "Nong Gulf? What a surprise." Phi Singto's voice greeted him from the other end of the line.
"Phi Singto, I hope I am not disturbing you, but I would like to know if Phi Mew is there with you. I know you people had plans and Phi Mew is not picking my calls, can you please give it to him if he is there with you, it is an emergency." Gulf said, he knows that he is being very blunt and demanding with a person he had not actually talked in a very long while that too an elder, but he does not have time for this. It seems like he is starting to freak out more as the time passes without his Phi picking up his call.
"Oh Gulf, actually I was not able to join them both because of some last-minute plan, so it is only Mew and Tul who are hanging out today, you can try and call Tul though." Gulf could only let out a sigh at this.
"Thank you Phi, I will try and call Phi Tul." Gulf ended the call with that.
Gulf conceded to call Phi Tul, he has no other option, he can feel himself start to hyperventilate by seeing the notifications from his twitter and IG account. Gulf took a deep breath and pressed the call button.
"Hello, Nong Gulf?" Phi Tul greeted Gulf.
"Phi Tul, is Phi Mew there with you? Can you put him on line for a minute. I have been calling him for the past hour but he is not answering, I just want to talk with him for a minute." Gulf said, and he could feel that his voice is getting shaky at this point.
"Nong Gulf, is everything alright? You do not sound good. Wait, let me get him for you." 'Phi Mew, Nong Gulf is on line, it seems like he wants to talk with you.' Gulf could hear Phi Tul calling for his Phi. 'Tul, can you tell Nong that I will call him later, and also can you come here and help me with these.' Gulf felt his stomach drop at his Phi's words. Can't his Phi understand that if Gulf is calling his friends to get in touch with him that means something has happened and that Gulf wants his Phi. 'But Mew,' Phi Tul started only to be cut off by his Phi. 'Tul, I saw his calls, I told him that today I just want to hang out with you guys without any disturbance, tell him that I will talk to him tomorrow about whatever it is.' Gulf could feel his anger rising over his other feelings, he can hear from his Phi's voice that he is drunk but then, he has been calling for over an hour was he drunk even then to understand that something is not right?
