"Crystal!" The older woman calls out while washing some dishes left over from tonight's dinner "yes mommy" Crystal ran to her mom quickly grabbing her leg while looking up for better view on the beautiful woman
"get ready for bed okay, I'll be up in a minute" Beatriz smiled down at the little girl "okay"
quickly, Crystal ran back to watch the tv screen that played out loud sounds "now!" Crystal jumped at the sudden tone given to her by the much older woman.
Small running footsteps were heard throughout the house as Crystal became full of energy, making Beatriz smile to herself.
As she wiped her wet hands clean on her apron she looked both ways before she began to sneak her way to Crystal, making sure not to make much noise.
Crystal stopped running when she felt her body being lifted up off the ground "ahhhhh" a loud pitch scream was heard with giggles following after.
Crystal kicked and giggled as her mom began to tickle the sides of her stomach "mommy!" The young girl cried out "Ooo okay I'm sorry Mi amor" Beatriz pinched the sides of Crystals face before fixing her hold on the five year old, letting her body push weight to one leg as Crystal stood sat on the woman's left hip.
The sound of clicking heels could be heard as Beatriz made her way up the stairs and to Crystals bedroom.
She pushed the door open with the tip of her shoe before walking to the edge of the soft cushion bed "goodnight my love"
She sat the girl gently in the bed before bringing the soft pink sheets over the girls fragile body.
Beatriz left a small kiss on Crystals forehead before turning around to then make her way back to the bedroom door
"Mommy.." a soft voice could be heard from the young girl "yes my love?" Beatriz let go of the door handle and quickly made her way back to the bed "can you sing me a song" Crystal asked with a hint of tiredness lingering through her voice.
Beatriz looked at the young girl with a look of admiration and love,
almost like becoming re in love with her baby girl "of course I can my love" Beatriz got comfortable and sat in bed with Crystal making the bed sink in more than before.
"Corazon de melon.. de melon melon melon melon... melon, corazon"
Beatriz sang softly while letting her hands run through Crystal soft hair. At the same time Crystals eyes began to shut close to the sound of the woman's soft voice making her more and more tired by the second.
