jisung hadn't returned from the bathroom yet, and it had been a lot longer than jisung had said he'd be.

every few minutes (or more like seconds), minho would check his phone that was supposed to be resting in his jeans pocket, but instead he placed on the table in order to keep checking it.

after anticipating whether to go check on him or leave it for another few minutes, minho decided on the first option.

he stood up and headed to the males toilets, peeking his head through first to see if anyone else was in there. once he saw it was empty, he walked in and instantly called for jisung.

" 'sung! you in here?" minho asked. it was a pretty stupid question actually- where else would the boy be?

there was some rustling, and then the lock of the end cubicle clicked and jisung peaked his head out the door. minho laughed at his cute antics but that quickly disappeared when he saw the boys red-ish nose and puffy eyes.

minho walked over to jisung to one, talk to him, and two, get a closer look.

jisung's eyes were wide and his shoulders were pressed up against his ears, as if he was caving in on himself.

"what's the matter, baby?" minho asked and was going to place his hands on jisung shoulders, but after seeing the boys state, he wasn't really sure if physical touch was an option right now.

jisung's bottom lip trembled and he squinted his eyes, looking down as he twists his ankle round, finding something to cast his eyes on to distract himself. he was still holding onto the door, meaning minho couldn't see his whole body.

minho held his arms out, offering the boy a hug. now that he thought about it, the two have barely even shared much proximity between them, other than holding hands.

jisung stepped forwards and wrapped his arms around minho's waist, feeling minho's arms snake around his shoulders. jisung rested his head on the elders chest, hearing his fast yet calming heartbeat.

" 'sungie, would you like to go?" minho asked, "we can go back to mine, watch a movie or movies. or just chill!"

jisung sniffled and nodded, keeping his eyes closed and face against minho's warm chest, not wanting to face the embarrassment of minho seeing him like this.

how pathetic was he, really? breaking out into tears and an (almost) panic attack just because he was overwhelmed.

jisung thought, no. jisung knew he was pathetic. he just really, really hoped minho didn't think so too.

. . .

the two arrived at minho's house. it was only around a ten minute walk, having taken them a bit longer than anticipated due to minho listening to jisung yap about random things. it honestly helped the younger calm his nerves down a bit from earlier, so he didn't mind talking on and on at all.

plus, when he had asked mid-walk, minho stated he loved when jisung would talk to him and minho would chose to listen. that surely got jisung's heart fluttering.

the two were instantly met by three cats at their feet, and jisung jumped at the sudden feeling of a furball rubbing up against him.

"what's--"

"--that's soonie. he's the eldest," minho interrupted with a smile, removing his shoes and placing them to the side. seeing jisung crouched down, occupied by scratching the back of the cat's ears while cooing small praises, a small smile broke free from his lips.
