An illusion of Nothing

What was that? (Part-1)

Paloma ran to Sia's house. And knocked on the door of her house. Sia Opened the door.

Sia," Paloma? You here?"
Paloma answered in a scared tone," I need your help, Sia. I saw someone in my bedroom. There are some abnormal things happening with me."
Sia," Can you say it clearly, what was happening with you? Come on inside of my house and then tell me."

Paloma went inside to Sia's house. Sia showed her a couch to sit on. Paloma sat and started speaking hurriedly.

Paloma," You know what there are some things happening with me that are not normal. I can feel something that is horrible. I don't know what to do just listen up and come with me at my home there is someone in my bedroom, I saw him it was a boy."
Sia," Simply, you are saying that you saw a boy in your bedroom, right?"
Paloma," Yeah!"
Sia," Got it. Don't worry we will go to your house and see who was there. We just can't go there alone, we need someone, do you think we should ask Robin for help?"
Paloma," I don't know what you have to do, I don't know whom to call, just you come with me, I don't know what is happening to me, I just need your help and you can call anyone to help me, I won't mind."

Sia listened to her carefully and decided that she would call Robin for this thing. She called Robin and told him everything that the Paloma had told her. Robin agreed to come for help.

They all decided that they would all meet together at Paloma's house. Sia booked a taxi because she didn't think that Paloma should walk home in her condition.

When Paloma and Sia reached Paloma's house, they saw that Robin was already there. Robin said hello to them and got ready to go inside.

Paloma was asked to open the gate. Paloma immediately opened the gate and went back to her apartment so that Robin could go in.

Robin went in first, followed by Sia, and last of all was Paloma. Before Robin moved in, Paloma had warned him that the man in her bedroom might be a strong young man.

Robin was not bothered by this, although he was ready to go in and very eagerly he opened the gate and stepped inside. As soon as Robin went inside, he saw that the lights of the whole room were off.

He asked Paloma where the lights were turned on. Paloma turned on the lights of the room and they all found that there was no one in the whole apartment.

Robin checked all the room one by one but there was no one in any room. The glass that Paloma had broken was now missing.

There was no evidence that anything wrong had happened to Paloma. Paloma looked very shocked and worried.

After all, whatever had happened to her was reality and not an illusion. So what was all this? After all, why was the thing that happened to her not visible?

Robin asked Paloma if there was any surveillance camera in the apartment. Paloma remember that there were many surveillance camera in the apartment.

They decided to check the cameras so that they can find if someone had escaped from here.
