THE SUN SHONE BRIGHTLY, golden hue across the endless green fields that stretched over most of the planet. Towering mountains framed the verdant landscape, their rocky peaks blending with the lush greenery that looked almost divine. Birds chirped in a melodic chorus, harmonising with the breeze that rustled through the trees. Thanos' armour, once the cause of so much bloodshed, hung ominously from a metal rod outside his modest cottage. The sun's rays caught the curves of the golden plates, enhancing their intimidating glow.

This armour had once been worn by the hand that wielded death.

The armour of a killer.

Thanos, the Mad Titan, walked slowly across the uneven terrain, his footsteps heavy upon the rocks and grass. His hand, disfigured and burned from the use of the Infinity Gauntlet, reached out to pick a large, spiked fruit from the ground. He crouched down with some difficulty, lifting a sack already brimming with fruit.

The left half of his body bore the brunt of his past deeds-skin burnt, flesh charred, his face a scarred reminder of what he had done, and perhaps what he deserved.

The Titan ascended the creaky wooden steps to his cottage with a noticeable limp, each step a slow, deliberate effort. The frail stairs groaned under his weight as if threatening to collapse at any moment. Inside, a fire crackled softly, filling the humble space-built from weak materials like wood and chaff-with warmth.

Thanos placed a pot over the flames, the metallic clang echoing in the quietness of his secluded home.

But the silence didn't last long.

A blinding yellow beam shot down from the sky, tearing through the atmosphere with a powerful force. Thanos barely had time to react before the blast slammed into him, sending him sprawling backwards. Before he could regain his senses, a pair of strong arms wrapped around his neck in a fierce headlock. Captain Marvel. Her grip was vice-like, her expression one of pure determination.

The Hulkbuster armour erupted from beneath, clamping down on Thanos with immense strength. War Machine soon joined, securing his other side. The Mad Titan found himself restrained, pinned under the strength of Earth's mightiest.

Aanya dropped from above, landing gracefully in front of Thanos with blades extending from her gloves, crackling with lethal energy. Though she was no superhuman, she was armed with cutting-edge technology-a dangerous word indeed.

She moved swiftly behind Rhodes, forcing Thanos' head back and levelling her sword at his throat. Her eyes were ablaze with wrath.

Suddenly, with a deafening thud, Thor landed beside them. Without hesitation, he swung Stormbreaker and severed Thanos' left arm, sending it crashing to the ground. The Mad Titan roared in pain, his deep, guttural groans filling the air, mingling with the smell of burnt flesh.

Natasha and Steve entered through the front door-the only ones to use a normal entry. Rocket, meanwhile, slowly nudged Thanos' severed arm forward, his eyes fixated on the golden gauntlet that once housed unimaginable power. His heart sank as he realised the stones were missing.
