You stepped into that familiar room you slept a night ago.You started to feel a little uneasy, it did not take long for Mabel to notice that something was not right.
"Everything alright y/n?"
You scanned the room with your eyes.Upon seeing that hideous triangular window you began having goosebumps.Mabel placed a hand on your shoulder and gave you a warm smile.
"Hey, I don't want to invade your personal space or anything, but I can sense something is bothering you."
You glanced over to Mabel, reassuring her that nothing was wrong, you were just a bit cold, that's why you were having goosebumps.(what a cliché excuse)
The girl patted your shoulder before letting go of it.
"Alright then!If you ever need me, I'll be in the room next to you!Make sure to knock before entering, I am sharing the room with my brother."
You nodded, smiling back to her.
After she left ,you collapsed onto the bed, trying to make sense of today's events.
A good night's sleep would definetly help clearing your head up, but those racing thoughts of yours were not planning tp let you drift asleep any soon.Your mind was filled with questions with no answers, hypothesis, dillemas, lots of paradoxes and many more.There was something anout this town who seemed to defy the very laws of physics, and you ha no time to lose in order to find out what exactly that was.
Going into this family's garage two nights in a row did not make a brilliant idea.If you were to be caught, they would probably kick you out and your plans to uncovers Gravity Fall's mysteries would be thrown outvthe window in a mere second.In order for this to work, you had to be very cautious.
You had to gain scces there, and to gain said acces...
You had to gain their trust.
The next morning did not bring any meaningful or odd events, it was just a regular day.Mabel offered to go shopping with you, as your items were lost to the gnomes.For such a small town, gravity falls had lots of shops.You wondered in them together with Mabel all day, looking for something that will fit your style.You didn't find much, tho.When you were walking back to the shack, Mabel once again noticed you were a little bit lost in your thoughts, her attempts at an icebreaker were mildly amusing.
"So...Orange juice or apple juice?"
You chuckled at her unexpected question.Suprisingly, it had indeed lit up a conversation between the two of you.As you were approaching your destination, the girl suggested something to you.
"You know, I'm sad that we didn't find enough clothes to your liking.If you want, you can borrow some of mine, I don't mind."
