"A young boy like you shouldn't be spending such a long time in a practice room," Said the man Raiya had yet to learn the name of. It was obvious he was a staff member of the company, but he wasn't apart of the usual staff and teachers that regularly visited trainees.
Raiya only shrugged and took another bite of the food the man had bought him. Vaguely he wondered if his mother would have scolded him for accepting food from a man he didn't know. However, the sun had set and Raiya had accidentally practiced through the dinner time set for trainees.
"Time slips away easily," the man said as he leaned against the practice room wall. Raiya nodded and he silently scarfed down his meal. The man could only look at him in silnce before speaking, "Do the other trainees always look at you like that?" He asked and Raiya only froze for a second.
Yes, Raiya couldn't say he was close with the other trainees. If anything he could always feel their envious glares when he was praised. This counted for anything weather it be rapping, singing , or even his Korean. While they never outwardly mistreated him, they were never his biggest fan.
"If anything, " Raiya said after taking a big gulp from his water bottle, "It shows their own insecurity."
The man only cackled, throwing his head back as the sound of his laughter echoed in the room. He gave Raiya a small smile, "true, and they'll never get anywhere like that will they?"
"Never," Raiya said respectfully cleaning up after himself, not wanting to leave the practice room a mess. He already wasn't supposed to be eating in there. Glancing back at the man he gave a respectful acknowledgement, "Thank you for the food."
The man nodded giving Riaya an impulsive head pat, almost as an older brother would. "It's apart of my job to take care of the trainees. Especially ones that skip a meal here and there." he teased.
"As much as i appreciate a hardworking young man, " the nameless started checking his watch, "Unless you want to get us in legal trouble, you better get going to bed." and Raiya was quick to follow these instructions, skedaddling out of the practice room, hidden exhauastion heavy in his body.
However, there was a long lasting impression that would bring an end to the many long practice days for Raiya
