"You could have said it nicer Yiseul," said the other trainee, a girl known as Ahyoung. Behind her a teary eyed Chaeyoung stood with Sojung holding her. Yiseul could only shake her head at the scene in front of her. If she didn't want to be criticized for her sloppy dance she should have practiced a little longer.
"She asked me my opinion, and i was honest. Her dance was sloppy and careless, if we put that in front of the mentors we'll all be docked points this evaluation," Yiseul reasoned and a sniffle was heard from Chaeyoung. Sojung glared at Yiseul, "Well you could have said it-"
"The idol industry does not sugar coat, if she can't handle the slightest bit of criticism this might not be the profession for her."
"And what makes you so great? huh-?"
"Yisuel," called a familiar voice and Yiseul plastered her best smile on her face. "Yes?" she said turning to face the staff member who had called out to her. The staff smiled back and beckoned her over, "Come with me please."
Sending one last strict look to her team mates she followed the staff member out of the practice room. They chatted lightly as they walked through the building of Enjoy Media, like they had many times. Yiseul always made an effort to treat the staff kindly and in a friendly manner.
"This is it," the staff said stopping in front of a door, they knocked lightly. There was a soft "come in" before the staff member opened the door and ushered Yiseul in. Yiseul walked in a greeted the man at the large dark wood desk politely, assuming he was of importance.
"It's nice to fianlly meet you!" the man said bright and Yieul only thanked him. Yiseul would like to say the same for the man but he gave away nothing that would tell her who he was.
"I've heard a lot about you form mentors and such," the man went on to say carefully scanning the papers in front of him, clearly a file about Yiseul as there was a big picture of her in the corner of the page. This wasn't strange as the trainees were well aware that the company kept files on every one of them.
"May i ask what this is about sir?" Yiseul asked as respectfully as she could, slightly uncomfortable with the wonder surrounding them. Who was this man? Why did he need to speak with her?
"I have a question for you," He said and Yiseul nodded and waited for him to continue, "What does it mean to survive the entertainment industry?"
"It means to shine brighter than anyone else," Yiseul responded almost two fasts, almost like she had asked herself the same question many times over.
"And do you think you can do it?"
"I know I can"
