We headed out to pick out new outfits because Nidhin and Faizi had a small wish to buy us some new clothes. They turned the entire store into a mess, much like our apartment, as they searched for the perfect outfits for us.

We were both embarrassed and delighted by their efforts and the thoughtfulness behind it.

Eventually, Nidhin emerged with his treasure in hand and a broad, beaming smile on his face. Meanwhile, Faizi was still busy hunting for his perfect find.

Nidhin, holding his found treasure, approaches Niru and says, "My girl, I'm sure this will suit you." He presents a top, black as his personality, extending down to her knee length. At first glance, it's undeniably a beautiful dress.

I remark, "It's a beautiful dress. To see if it suits you, you should try it on."

Nidhin agrees, "That's correct. Come on, Niru, let's try it on."

The emphasis on "let's" in his statement causes Niru to give him a look, rolling her eyes. Nidhin, noticing her reaction, carefully chooses his words, "Not like that, you try it. I'll help you get to the trial room."

Niru smiles at him, amused by his response.

Niru takes the dress from Nidhin, still smiling at his careful choice of words. She walks toward the trial room, her heart fluttering with a mix of excitement and nervousness. Nidhin follows closely behind, the atmosphere between them charged with unspoken tension.

Inside the trial room, Niru stands in front of the mirror, the dress draped over her arm. She glances back at Nidhin, who is waiting just outside the door. His eyes meet hers, and for a moment, neither of them speaks. There's an undeniable connection between them, one that has been growing stronger with each passing day.

Niru finally steps into the trial room, closing the door behind her but leaving it slightly ajar. As she slips into the dress, she can feel the softness of the fabric against her skin, the way it clings to her curves just right. She takes a deep breath, her heart racing as she thinks about how Nidhin might react when he sees her.

When she steps out, Nidhin's breath catches in his throat. The dress looks even more stunning on her than he had imagined. She stands there, slightly nervous, waiting for his reaction. Nidhin steps closer, his eyes locked on hers.

“You look… perfect,” he whispers, his voice filled with genuine admiration.

Niru blushes under his gaze, feeling a warmth spread through her chest. Nidhin reaches out, gently brushing a stray strand of hair behind her ear, his fingers lingering a moment longer than necessary. The simple touch sends a shiver down her spine.

They stand there, inches apart, the air between them thick with unspoken feelings. Nidhin’s hand moves to rest on her waist, pulling her a fraction closer. Niru’s breath hitches as she feels the heat of his touch through the fabric of the dress. She looks up into his eyes, her own filled with a mixture of anticipation and longing.

“Niru…” Nidhin’s voice is soft, almost a whisper, as he leans in closer.

Niru’s heart pounds in her chest, every nerve in her body alive with sensation. She closes her eyes as their foreheads touch, the moment stretching out, suspended in time.

And then, with a tenderness that takes her breath away, Nidhin closes the remaining distance between them, his lips brushing against hers in a gentle, lingering kiss. The world around them fades, leaving just the two of them in that perfect moment, wrapped in each other's arms.

When they finally pull back, Nidhin looks at her with a smile, his eyes filled with a warmth that speaks of something more than just affection. Niru smiles back, her heart full, knowing that this was just the beginning of something beautiful between them.
