i got in trouble for leaving group therapy. but they didnt really do anything. everyone here gets three warnings. if you get three strikes, they kick you out. doesn't seem so bad.
after therapy was over, I figured I'd try to find luke. i looked all around the asylum and couldn't find him. until I went to the small garden they had. outside it was almost like you could forget you were locked up. there were different types of flowers planted. and a small fountain, that was surrounded by stone benches. but the garden was surrounded by a fence, which reminded you that you're trapped.
i spotted luke sitting on one of the benches. i walked over and sat beside him. "hi." i said. I wasn't expecting luke to respond. "thank you f-for sticking up for me." he continued to look at the water, but I never broke my stare. his eyes were this bright shade of blue. they kind of glistened with the sun shining in them, and the reflection of the water.
I never clostly looked at luke. he was stunning. weird to say when describing a guy, but its true. he had this blonde hair that was styled up. and he had this smile that made it seem like the world wasnt such a bad place.
"no problem." I wanted to get to know luke. I wanted to know who he really was. I wanted to know why he was here. but I'd figure him out with time.
we fell into a comfortable silence. i wanted to talk to him, but he didn't seem like much of a talker. "can I ask you something?" he didn't reply, he just nodded. "uh- why are you here?" he shifted in his seat. "i did something, really bad. now I'm suffering the consequences."
