After saying goodbye to their parents, Hesperia and Draco, the Malfoys decided that the two should sit together, in the same compartment. the girl didnt mind it even though the boy didnt answear her question. She wasnt going to pressure him to say anything to her. He will in his own time. The girl slightly smiled at her train of thought and continued looking at the window.
The train station was getting busier and busier by the minute. She saw the Weasleys having a quick conversation with some dark-haired boy and saw them enter the train. She also saw some crazy-haired brunette talking with I think her normie parents. Both of them were dressed in some kind of white jacket with a little ID plastered on them. Interesting. The girl cleared her throat and looked at the boy who was sitting right in front of her, also next to the window. He was also looking through it, just less intrigued. He looked kind of bummed out and kind of bored. Maybe he wanted to sit with people he already knew instead of her.
As the train started to move she saw her mom standing next to Malfoys. She began to turn her head away from their conversation and began searching for her Daughter in the windows of the train. As their eyes met her mom instantly sprang up and started viscously waving to her child, almost hitting Mr Malfoy on his head. The girl couldnt help but raise her hand and wave back to her mom and also made sure to move her head slightly to wave to the Malfoys who were a bit surprised by her action. The only response she got from them was an elegant hand move from Narcissa.
As the train station stopped being the only thing the girl could see out the window, she looked back at Draco, who was now looking at her, shocked. Maybe she shouldnt have waved to his parents. She didnt want to be rude.
The girl cleared her throat and lightly rested her back which was met by an almost silent croak coming from her sweater pocket. Norry the toad was taking his morning nap in the girls pocket the whole time since She and her mom left their house. She noticed Dracos curious eyes scanning the girl, probably looking for what made that sound.
The girl kindly raised her eyebrows and slowly picked up the left side of the button-up knitted sweater and lightly moved the fabric enough for the boy to see the toad. Thankfully Norry was deep in his slumber and didnt see the boys furrowed eyebrows full of confusion and slight disgust,
"His name is Norry, His my pet for the Hogwarts. Hes nice once you feed him enough." The girl said calmly watching the boys face as she slowly rested the pocket on her legs, letting the toad sleep.
"Hmm." That's all she got from the boy beside a side eye as he moved his head to watch what was going on outside the windowed carriage doors. Maybe he really did want to sit with someone else.
The girl cleared her throat again, starting to feel it slightly throb from all the throat clearing she decided to ask him that exact question.
"Did you want to sit with someone else? I dont mind, I wont tell your parents you want to switch seats." Hesperia said calmly while looking straight at the boy and tucked a piece of her dark hair behind her ear.
The boy turned his head to look at the girl who wasn't looking so shy anymore. Her posture was straight as a needle. Her face was stern and somewhat peaceful. She looked very elegant even in a dark blue kind of washed-out sweater and a black, long, the boy thought it was a skirt but looking closer at the material, It was just very flowy and wide pants that gave the image of a skirt. Her clothes were normal but her energy was way more impacting, radiating even.
"Its... Its not that i just thought someone would join me- us..." The boy said quietly and again moved his eyes from her figure back to the door.
"Who?"
Draco kind of annoyed now looked at the girl again, she crossed her arms and sat with one leg over another and softly rubbed her knee with one of her hands that was resting on them. With her sudden change of position, a grumpy croak was quickly silenced as the toad realized that the girl only moved.
"Harry Potter. You know, The boy who survived the killing curse? Hes supposed to be attending school with us for his first year!" Draco said almost exited as he watched the girls face change from firm to understanding.
Hesperia heard about Harry Potter. Her mother was talking about how the Dark Lord had killed both of his parents with the unforgivable curse yet he, a mere baby, survived it and instead of dying, the Dark Lord did. Hesperia always thought it was just a tale her mother made up but somehow apparently, since Draco also heard about the boy. It must be that he's real right? The girl slightly smiled at the boy and nodded.
"Do you know him?"
"No... But I want to." The boy said looking down. Ever since he had heard about him, he must've been 5 years old maybe when he truly comprehended what the boy lived through. He wanted to be friends with him and teach him how to live as a wizard.
"Well if you see him walk past here let me know, i wouldn't mind saying hi myself." The girl said again, making Draco look up at her. As he did, he watched the girl take out of her bag one of the textbooks for this year and began reading, sometimes murmuring either a charm or a potion ingredient. Draco smiled at the girl, He liked that she just followed what he said. Not minding any sharp answer and not letting his behavior get to her. Was she just cool like that or did she just not care?

As the sky turned darker and the wind was calm, The train had arrived to the Hogwarts station. Hesperia and Draco had changed into their uniforms a while ago and now Draco realized that Hesperias skirt was different from other girls. It wasnt a knee length, it was the length the girl always wears, Long, all the way to her ankles.
"Why do you wear such long bottoms?" Draco asked Hesperia as they both headed to the exit.
"I asked Madam Malkin if it was an option to have them longer, Im not a fan of bare knees" The girl answered quickly looking at the boy.
Draco furrowed his brows and looked at all the other girls getting out of the train, every each one had either worn the skirt normally or even rolled it up to have the skirt shorter. The boy raised his eyebrow again and looked at Hesperias long skirt. It was from the same material as the others—pleated dark, basically black skirts, just longer. Draco looked down on his own uniform, white shirt with a tie that changes colors as he joins one of the houses, long straight black pants and a cloak. He obviously also got the pointy hat on and insisted on getting an elegant belt to hold his pants up.
"First years! First years come to me!" With all the outfit checking Draco finally heard someone call out for them. He had heard from his parents multiple times that the first time you get to Hogwarts, you get to sit in a self-rowing boat that takes you across the lake's deep waters to the Hogwarts.
He quickly grabbed the girls arm and pushed through some of his older schoolmates to get to the booming voice.
Hogwarts's lights in the evening were beautiful. Shimmering candlelights were seen through the windows of the castle, and the lake lit up like stars. Hesperia was on a boat with Draco and two different boys whom Draco already knew. The girls completely ignored their excited chatter and completely focused on the magical view in front of her.
The man who was calling them to the boats was named Hagrid. He was a huge fuzzy man, wearing big brown coats and big leather boots. His face was round and covered by a big beard and hair. He was loud yet he seemed very bright and nice. There was something familiar about this man, Hesperia couldnt put a finger on it though.
