Chapter 7: Cat Got Your Tongue?

The rest of the debriefing went well, everyone cooperated and paid attention to every detail covered in the binder. Hobi had extra binders for each crew member, they were going to be as prepared as they could. Namjoon shook his head, feeling the hot beads of water beat down on his back. His anxiety was trying to get the best of him. 

What was this tour going to be like? What if this tour ended with less members than the start? How was he going to keep this danger a secret from the other boys? Namjoon reached to turn off the water, pausing when he realised the comfort he felt from the warmth. Sighing he turned it off, stepping out of the shower and wrapping a towel around his waist. 

"We can only do so much..." Joon whispered to his blurred reflection, the steam had built up on the mirror. The cold air of his apartment washed over him when he yanked the bathroom door open, heading to his bedside table he grabbed his phone and started typing a message out. 

'Please, let the others know about Jin. Remember we have our final practice in the studios before we start finalising tour stuff tomorrow. I still want us to keep eyes out for each other, we don't know if there is a storm coming, so still travel in twos. I'm with Jin and you know Hobi is good on his own. For now keep Hobi a secret from Jungkook and Jimin as well.' 

Namjoon sent the message separately to Tae and Yoongi, setting his phone down and turning to the bed, Jin waiting for him.

"We will figure this out," Jin tried to comfort Joon as he got comfortable next to him, "We're stronger together as well." Namjoon nodded in agreement, feeling no need to speak at all. Jin smiled a tired smile, reaching around Namjoon and pulling him into a cuddle, "Let's try to rest. Our journey begins tomorrow." Jin was calm and straight forward, Joon pushing back when he thought about their day. 

"We haven't eaten." Jin looked abash at those words, "Here." Joon handed the remote to the TV in his room to Jin. "Find something to watch and I'll sort something for us...." Joon pushed up from the bed and paused, turning back to kiss the top of Jins head. "I love you, let's keep our members safe."

Taemin had left and they had continued to chatter about some of the answers they were given. Jungkook, seemingly zoning in thought, piped in and held a hand out to stop Jimin and Tae from continuing.

"Did you mention who your sire was?" Jungkook looked at him confused but also begging for an answer. At that moment Tae and Yoongi shared a look, they both had felt the buzz of a message to their phones in their pockets. Tae nodded to Yoongi, Yoongi reached for his phone, Tae opted to remain still. Yoongi held a finger up to Kookie as he opened the message from Joon, nodding and trying not to show his worry when reminded that Jungkooks brother may be caught but there was a society that may be after them still. He tucked his phone back in his pocket, giving a 'let me speak' look to Tae. 

"Well, considering I'm not under contract for that, I can tell you who it is." Jungkook looked more enthralled, unblinking and focused. Jimin on the other hand was looking curious and nervous. "According to PD Nim, he wants us all on the same page." Yoongi ran a hand through his hair before attempting to answer, Jungkook cutting him off in the process.

"It's Jin-hyung isn't it?" Jungkook was serious, Yoongi smirking knowing Kookie would have eventually figured it out, he was impressed. Jimin was now on the edge of his seat waiting for Yoongi to confirm. Yoongi met Jungkook and then Jimins eyes before nodding and speaking. Tae had finally let a breath out, looking at the message on his phone now that the other boys attention was on Yoongi.

"Don't treat him any different. The past is just that, the past." Yoongi grumbled a bit looking for more words to feed the wide eyed boys, "He had his reasons and right now our focus is now and the future." Yoongi sighed, " Also, we need to travel in twos minimum, we're still not out of danger." Jimin looked confused and Jungkook just nodded, "Jungkooks brother may be caught, but the society may retaliate because of it..."
