5- the unexpected call

Time skip...
At night....
Kabir's POV:
Today's incident made my rage boil and Arhan had already got those bastards to my mansion
I reached my mansion and entered holding my phone and my gun
As I entered I witnessed those men were already being tortured by my men and Arhan
As my eyes with Arhan he moved to the sofa and rest the matters in my hands
I ordered my men to bring hot boiling water and they brought and kept in front of me
I looked at those men who tried to harm Mansha and then in a flash of seconds I poured the hot boiling water on those hands which were tied and they yelled
But little do I care I was enjoying their screams cause they tried to hurt someone from my accompany
Not only her even if it was someone else I would always punish them cause they deserve it
Then I again signalled my men to start torturing them and they continued
I made my way to sofa where Arhan was resting
Arhan looked at me and asked in a tone of worry "how's mansha?"
And I answered him a low voice "she's fine but she was scared and frightened due to all this" and then instantaneously the memories of Mansha in his arms and him caressing Mansha flushed in my mind I zoned out to which Arhan snapped his fingers in front of me and I came back to senses causing Arhan to chuckle
An urgency led in Arhan and he asked "you're behaving strange these days Kabir,you never consoled any girl the way you consoled Mansha
The great Kabir Khan the grumpy billionaire and the ruthless undercover officer who has all the rights to punish someone is having a soft corner for a girl, Impressive man"
I answered in a dilemma "I don't know Arhan she's something else
She has the power to grab my attention towards her though she has no intention to do so
I don't have a soft corner because she's your cousin yeah it's one of the reasons but I'm unaware what's happening to me
Today when she was in my arms and I couldn't let go her off and even the day she fell upon me on her mission a strange feeling urged
I have no intention to hurt her but no doubt she always fights with me but her smile is enough to cool down everything"
And Arhan's mouth fell agape
He replied in an exciting tone "Kabir are you in love?"
To which I laughed and told "I don't know Arhan but she holds a different energy"
And we are having our coffee while discussing that he met a girl collided actually today in the morning at the event which got interrupted by a call which was from the woman whom Arhan saved from the accident
She invited Arhan and he shamelessly dragged me into this and informed her he'll be there at her place at 5 in the evening with me and Mansha
I was stunned when he mentioned Mansha will be coming with us and I gave him an eye look which demanded answers
He laughed and told "it's ok let's grab her in atleast she'll enjoy and try to forget what happened"
And I agreed
We left to our house and ordered my men that those bastards shouldn't sleep eat or die
I wanted them to suffer more than their mere thoughts to suffer any girl

Next day...
Author's POV:
Mansha woke and done her daily routine ignoring yesterday's incident
She went downstairs and found her aunt had made her breakfast
She had her breakfast and then her aunt questioned "what happened yesterday Mansha you were about to come late but arrived too soo" and the next second the memories of her hugging Kabir and him caressing and lifting in his arms everything inch to inch gathered in my mind that caused her choke her food
Her aunt passed her a glass of water and she gulped the water in one go
She then looked at her and replied while stammering "no- I-I actually the event was over so I returned early" and she nodded
Mansha had her breakfast and returned to her room and took her phone and in a second she got a call and it's from Kabir
She didn't lift the call and was getting ready
No wonder he's gonna call again she thought and then again her phone started to ring
Mansha lifted the call only to hear Kabir yap before she could tell anything he simply told "better throw of these tantrums and come as soon as possible we have an important meeting today and I'm waiting outside" and hung up the call
Mansha huffed and took her purse phone and wallet and made her out to Kabir's car
Kabir was already waiting outside the car leaning his back towards the driver's seat door
Mansha went to him and she smiled at him wishing him good morning
His lips made a small smile and replied to her
They then got into the car and drove to the office
