Heartbreak

"What did you do to her.. Where is she!" Sotol stared right at StarFlight and narrowed his eyes.

"What do you mean "what did I do to her" I just.. Told her something... And why are you so worried about her.." StarFlight questioned.

StarFlight gasped as suddenly a shocking thought came to his mind. ~what if.. No.. It.. It couldn't be.. She is not.. He and her.. But no!~

"Sorry to tell you dude.. But she is mine. And also, it's clear to me now that you love her." Sotol looked away and was about to fly off when he looked at StarFlight once more. "I was.. Eavesdropping on your little "conversation" " He jumped off and flew in the same direction as Sunny.

StarFlight had never felt so hurt in his life. "N.. No.." He shook his head. "I can't believe this.." Another tear fell and rolled down his cheek.

He flew off the edge and headed the other direction, off to a cliff. The sun was just starting to set, which was unfair because the sunset was rather beautiful. "Just like.. Sunny.." He sighed and more tears followed.

He flew and flew till he finally found a cliff to rest on. "Ugh. stupid StarFlight!" He shook his head and then curled himself up into a little ball. " I bet you look like a pitiful whimp.." He sighed. He buried his head in his talons and curled his tail around himself. He started to cry. Harder than he ever had before.

The sun continued to set and he continued to cry. Images of him and Sunny would appear in his mind, and then Sotol would suddenly take his place and appear where he just was. He kept thinking of how worthless he thought he was and how embarrassed he was.

He ended up falling asleep, but he did not sleep very well. He kept tossing and turning. Nightmares of a lonely life without Sunny or anyone to love haunted him during his unsteady slumber. Although he was uncomfortable he still
managed to sleep through the nightmares and sadness.

But then he suddenly woke to a strange smell. "What in Pyrrhia is that.." He looked around until his gaze hit the RainForest Kingdom. Then it hit him.

Fire. The Rainforest was on fire.
