I always just saw a relationship as a contract, but I definitely didn't want to get into a contract with someone who was going to run away. Humans were very funny to me. My dad would make me watch movies about them and watch them from afar. I seen a lot of them acting crazy with there female counter parts with a can in their hand. My dad showed me how to grow my legs which is pretty easy for me now, but I can't be away from water to long. I become scaly. I heard humans don't like that. I guess that will have to be discussed in our negotiation as well. I don't really want to be married to a human anyway so I may tell them right off the bat. My dad doesn't have to know everything. Every human I dated so far it took them a day, maybe a weekend to run away. I wouldn't hear from them again. I think humans have a term for that, it's called ghosting. They kind of do my job for me. As long as no one wants to get close to me to stay longer, it looks like I don't have to worry about marriage. That is atleast what I thought until I started talking to Ted. He just won't leave, and for some reason I don't hate him. I want too, but I guess I see myself in him. How can I hate him then? I also don't want to marry him, I just don't want him to leave. He is a comfort for me.
