Text: I'm five minutes away. I'll be there as fast as I can.

As clueless as he was, he was a really sweet clueless guy. I kind of felt bad for him. How was he supposed to know that I was a mermaid or that I wasn't actually interested in him unless I actually told him? He shouldn't feel bad that I wasn't interested in him, I wasn't interested in anyone. I guess in a way my dad was clueless too, and both of them were about to meet. It's not like me and clueless boy were serious, and I was still dating for dad. Case closed, no one should be upset. I needed to stop calling him clueless boy before I really forgot his name. I heard a knock at the door. Darn, it was too late. The only hope left was to remember him the moment I answered the door. I didn't want to call him strange human, that might be offensive, but maybe I can say I got amnesia or something. I answered the door and luckily I didn't have to remember his name. He stood there in an outfit, he was cute, with a name tag, Ted. That was his name. I never heard the name Ted, but I was grateful to see it now.

“Luckily I was in your area, it was my last stop. Why haven't you got back to me? I thought maybe you didn't want to see me anymore.”

“Ted, there are reasons why I don't call or text you and please come inside you might want to sit down.”

This was it. There was no turning back now.
