Scott looks at Kira.

"That looks a lot like your sword," he says.

"I know," she replies.

The girl waves the sword, flipping it around and showing off. Liam starts to listen to the girl's heartbeat, and he starts to contemplate whether she's good or not.

"Um...hi!" Kira says. "I'm Kira. You're a kitsune too?"

When she doesn't reply, Kira continues speaking.

"What's your name?" she asks.

The girl hesitates but decides to talk. "My name is Quinn."

Even though she said her name, Quinn still stays cautious and holds her sword up. Kira notices this and drops her sword.

The pack gives her a wary look, but they say and do nothing. Quinn glances at the sword on the ground and looks back up. Still, she stays cautious and doesn't drop her sword.

"Quinn, um, I'm-"

"Scott McCall. I know. The True Alpha. Not gonna be 'true' for long though," Quinn says.

Scott gives her a confused look. "What do you mean?"

"How many people would you kill to save your precious Isabella Kaiser?" Quinn smirks.

Scott takes in a breath, as he starts to think about Isabella. Liam glares at the ground, while the rest stays silent.

Suddenly, a voice speaks. "Yeah? Well how many times would we have to beat the crap out of you just to get you to shut up?"

They turn around and see Stiles. Scott asks, "What are you doing here?"

"You guys were taking too long," Stiles replies.

Liam notices that Stiles is holding a baseball bat. His grip on the bat is tense and tight, and he can feel the anxiety radiating off of him. Stiles is always anxious, everybody knows that, but right now, he's anxious and he's not in a good mood. And that's dangerous.

Stiles looks at Quinn. "I don't know what you know about Isabella, but she's a part of our pack and we would whatever we can to save her. But that doesn't mean we're gonna kill anyone."

"How long will you last without killing me?" Quinn replies before she takes action.

She aims for Kira and gives her a wound on her leg. Kira winces but doesn't let the pain stop her. When Quinn tries to slash her again, Kira ducks and rolls away, taking her katana in the process.

Kira raises her sword and points it at Quinn as she feels her wound slowly healing. Scott claws Quinn's shoulder, making her scream in pain. Quinn turns to Scott angrily and slices his arm.

The wound begins to heal, but Scott growls at the stinging pain. Liam and Malia run in to fight and help Scott and Kira. Lydia, still with small experience, instead stays back with Stiles. She looks down at the bat and back up to his face.

"We're dealing with a kitsune, Stiles," Lydia says.

Stiles looks back at Lydia. "What? She's got a sword, I got a bat. Deal with it."

Lydia rolls her eyes and looks back at the fight. She begins to think of ways to help her friends when suddenly, she hears whispers.

The world silences as the voices in her head begin to speak to her. Lydia's breathing slows as she concentrates on what the voices are saying. Again, there's something that she can't understand; the one thing they always leave out. The name.
