Meeting the Reaper

Im Nayeon goes to visit her father to talk about him pitching the idea of recruiting the notorious mercenary

"Hey Ms. Jung where's my dad?" She asked the family maid

"He's in the office right Miss, he has a guest and said to not let anyone in" she answered Nayeon

But she ignored it and went straight to come in, someone's back is facing her and her dad is talking with this person like they are old friends

"You know the company I handle with Jinyoung, I let my daughter to take a negotiator position. I also told Jinyoung to hired you after your retirement" Mr. Im happily said

"I'm not doing it. I already have enough money for me to enjoy life and it's enough to live quietly after my retirement" the mysterious person said calm tone

"Also helping Momo earlier is just a good friend doing a favor for her friend. I canceled the contract, did it for free" she continue talking

They are drinking whiskey and didn't notice Nayeon's presence thats what she thought until the girl call her out

"Hey Mr. Im, we have uninvited guest, standing behind me for a while now" she's calm and not really caring at all

"Oh that's my daughter the one I'm talking about a moment ago" her dad proudly said

"Oh Nayeon right?" The Reaper turned around and they made eye contact, and she recognized the woman

Its Jeongyeon is the person having a private meeting with her father and chatting like friends

"Get away from her dad! That person is dangerous!" Nayeon pulled her dad aside

"Did you told her my existance?" Jeongyeon asked mr. Im

"No. Why would I do that? I promised" Mr. Im said to her

"Yeah. I believe you I think I know who spilled it. Your business partner that JYP guy" Jeongyeon being calm as she guess it

"Im Nayeon the new executive member of JYP security agency team two, I guess you're trying to investigate me" she smirks at her

Nayeon felt her space is getting smaller but her dad step in. And apologized to Jeongyeon

"I'm sorry for my daughter's rude behavior please, forgive her" Nayeon's dad is bowing to Reaper

"Dad why are you apologizing to that murderer?!" Nayeon trying help her dad get up but he keeps pushing her hand away

"Mr. Im get up it's not your fault that she likes to stick her nose to somebody else business and personal life" Jeongyeon said and help the old man stands up

"Nice seeing you again Mr. Im, but I hope this is the last time too" she walked out

Nayeon and Mr. Im got left in the office, Nayeon is frozen from Jeongyeon deadly glare

"You don't know what you did?!" Mr. Im yelled at her daughter

"What? Why is this my fault dad?" She asked

"You ruined a good chance for the company. Your beliefs are the one will ruined you and what Jinyoung and I planned for years!" He said to her

"Me? You both are crazy for trying to recruit that murderer?!" Nayeon retaliates

"She saved my life 3 years ago! That's how I got back home after that abduction incident during my business trip!" Mr. Im shouts at his daughter

They don't know that Jeongyeon just standing outside the room and listening to the father and daughter talk

"I don't kill anyone without a reason Ms. Im. And yes I killed people for money if you are a smart woman you can do your research on the people I killed before.

Then I will listening to you criticizing me for my work in the past. I'm retired after I destroyed and anhilated the entire mercenary camp" Jeongyeon just opened the door

"Anyway I forgot about my cigar" she picks it up the pack of cigars before leaving again but for real this time

Nine days later

Jeongyeon's pov

I guess being the grim reaper will always be intact in my life. I want to live my life as Jeongyeon now just a normal person who lives a normal and peaceful life

"Hey handsome, do you want some company?" A pretty girl approached me

"I don't mind sharing a drink with you" I said not looking at her at all

She doesn't like me that way, she wants to hook up that's all. Well its normal every place I've gone to.

"What's your name? I'm Suzy" she keeps talking

"Jodi. Order the drink you want and put it on my tab" I said to this girl

We are drinking and she keeps on talking about herself and her friends. I just pretend to listened to all her story

"Anyway you don't talk to much" she's noticed me

"Yeah I don't mind listening to you ranting" I just said

I'm not really in the mood to get into someone's pants tonight, just drinking and chilling. If you know what I mean, right?

"Really then can I talk about something serious?"

"Sure. Start talking"

"I just want this person to be my side, after all she's well known and have a strong image. I don't understand why she isn't accepting my offers or care enough to read them"

"That's tough" I said

"Yeah, that's why I want to asked you Ms. Reaper why are you ignoring my offers to be my right hand and work for me" so this woman knew my past

"Who are you and what do you want from me?" I asked her directly

"You. Ms. Reaper you're the one I want" dude this bitch is crazy

"I'm retired. Answer my question who are you?" I became serious and now I noticed there are alot of people surrounding us

"Chill Ms. Reaper. I'm Bae Suzy owner and boss of Starfall Mercenary group or other people knowns as Starfall Agency" she's a sly one

"I am retired Ms. Bae Suzy you can stop sending me offers because I'm done" I said seriously to her

"And also if you want everyone of your guys live another day, tell them to stop reaching for their guns" I pulled out my gun to aim at this woman's head

"Guys everyone lower your weapon! Don't push the button!" Suzy yelled at the bartender

"So you owns this night club? I am retired but don't give me a reason to kill y'all in here" my voice is so cold and full of kill intent

To be honest, if they want to have a go at me they shouldn't let me pulled my gun out. And I don't believe in strength in numbers. All I can see is them as additional to my confirmed kills.

"Fine. Here's my card my offer still stand, call me if you changed your mind" she said and kiss me on the lips

"I'm not paying for the drinks I ordered" I said and left the club hurriedly

Civilian's life? I don't think it fits someone life me who lives in the middle of fighting to death.
