Izuku Midoriya had abandoned his name and identity years ago and he never wants to hear anyone mention it to him ever again. He goes by Sly Fox (Fox to people he knows) and Sly Fox is widely known.
He was tired. Very tired. For the first time in his years of living in the League Of Villains base he went to his room to sleep. Not to work or think up strategies, or plans, but to sleep. He has never been this tired in a long time but he didn't resist the temptation because he knew he needed it.
He opened the metal door that creaked loudly by the hinges, a promise that he won't be able to sneak around. He stalked over to his never-used-before bed, ignoring the coldness of the room it always had. No matter the season, it was always cold.
He flopped onto his bed with a hard mattress and thun covers, and turned to lay on his back. He looked into the darkness of the room, waiting for his eyes to adjust. When it did he closed his eyes. As a new kind of darkness overtook him, he thought about how useless it was to wait for Gus eyes to adjust to the darkness.
He had fallen asleep, or at least he thought he did. But the change in temperature told him otherwise. From cold to warm. The rays of light penetrated his closed eyes. He wasn't in the base anymore. In a matter of seconds, he was on his feet but he almost fell back on his back when he saw what was in front of him. Green haired look-alikes overwhelmed his eyes.
An illusion? Izuku questioned his eyes and took another look. It was still the same. Had the league betrayed him? Was he somehow going to die? He didn't expect it to happen so early. I was far too early because he knew they still needed him.
All thoughts of betrayal were dashed when he saw how the maggots acted. Izuku rubbed his head with his gloved hands, he sighed. They look like clinically insane people. Then he noticed a certain someone. He just wanted to play with him, like a fox would play with a rabbit. He wanted to play a 'not-so-harmless' game of 'Sly Fox and Clever Bunny.' This certain copycat calmed down the entire maggots so that name suited the game. He smiled, I found my next prey.
Then he started picking on him here and there. I was funny watching his facial expressions change as he tried to hide his emotions (he didn't do a very good job at it). But, for some reason, when the Bunny spoke directly to Izuku, he sensed an intense fierceness mixed with a bit of fear. Izuku couldn't help but smile.
The moment of entertainment was short lived when he felt a hand rest on his chest. He looked down, wondering who's hand it was, but found nothing. He raised an eyebrow and looked back up.
But he didn't see the lush gree landscape. No trees and no field. No Midoriya maggots anymore. Just darkness. He had to wait for his eyes to adjust to the dimness again.
But he didn't want to do that anymore because the weight on his chest was still there. He already knew who it was. He looked down at the twin blond buns, trying to catch a glimpse of her face. He gave up and took her hand off her chest.
“What are you doing?” asked Himiko Toga.
“Getting up. What does it look like?”
He got off the bed, went around the bed to where Toga was and picked her up. With a few protests and struggles, Toga was placed on the other side of the closed door.
Izuku sighed as he placed his head on the cold metal. He has to keep his guard up if he has the hunch that they are planning something behind his back.
And his hunches are always right.
