HIS ETHEREAL OBSESSION

CHAPTER 10

Aranyak's pov :-

I was busy with my work when my phone resting on the side of the table started vibrating as it was in silent mode, I don't give my personal phone number to anyone unless that person is really important to me.

I checked the phone and saw Mihir was calling me and suddenly I remembered I had given some work to him.

I quickly picked up the call and before i could tell something he himself started giving me the information which i had asked him.

"sir, ma'am is awake and has entered your office. she has seen the phone kept on your table and is scrolling through it."

before he could say something else , i ended the call and took my coat from my chair and left for the house.

heer's pov :-

I took the phone and was admiring his office which was a hidden gem of the house, when the words of the maid replayed through my mind.

HE DOEN'T LIKE ANYONE INVADING HIS PLACE.

I took the phone and left the room and went directly to my room. Everything in the phone was already don as if someone has been using it but it was brand new phone. the colour of the phone the design of the cover the wallpaper everything was perfect . it even contains the apps which i use. It looks like the phone was specially customized for me.

i kept the phone on the side table and was about to go for taking shower when I heard footsteps of someone walking in the kitchen.

I was alone in the house no one else was there and i had even checked the main door before going inside Mr. Rathore's office and it was closed.

Slowly the sound of the steps started growing louder and my heartbeat increased, my throat dried , I quickly grab the vase kept on the side table and slowly started moving towards the door.

I started panicking and tried to reach my phone but before i could reach, the door flew open reveling Mr. Rathore.

all panickiness rushed out of me and calmness filled the empty place.

"you scared me, don't you know how to knock"

"looks like i have knock inside my house only"

"don't matter whose house it is you should knock before entering anyone's room."

My heart was still racing at his unexpected and surprising entry.

" You look more scared than I thought. " he said while taking the vase from hand and slowly put it in its place while making an eye contact with me.

I hadn't realized from how long were standing there until Mihir came for giving Mr. Rathore's work file which he had left in the office ,I guess.

He broke the eye contact and left without even looking at me once.

Aranyak's pov :-

"sir, we cannot afford to lose our one of the most important client." Mihir said in a concerning voice.

Due a 5'5 ft. creature lately I have been distracted with my work and someone of the recent events has taken my more than needed time and kept me away from the company.

I had tried to finish the important work and I succeed even but few works which I had left to deal in the future-I don't like to delay my work but this time I was not left with any other option- were still uncompleted.

"bring me their files and try to hang them until we get a proper solution of this problem."

"but sir-"before he could speak any further I interrupted him.

"no buts i want the file on my table in an hour."

"okay sir"

Mihir left, leaving me alone in the hall.

I reading the work and was sitting on my chair, in my home office. when I heard a knock on the door.

without looking at the person I said "come in!"

Heer came inside with her phone in her hands, which I had customized it for her but she was unaware of the fact.

"can I download games in it ?"she said in a pleading tone , her puppy eyes looking in mine to hear a 'yes'.

"you can do whatever you want this is your phone not mine." I said tearing my gaze away from her puppy eye to my computer screen.

"thank you so much" she said happily running out of my office without even looking back once.

I finally completed my work and looked at the hanging right over the door.

it was almost evening. I hadn't had my food since morning, breakfast was the only meal i had today.

I was going to the kitchen when I saw heer sitting on the couch with phone in her hand.

my kitchen was an open kitchen so I was able see her , from last fifteen I was cooking food and her eyes were sticked to her phone as if she was seeing something interesting, she hadn't even notice my presence.

I served the food in two plates and put it on the dining table and called her name.

she was so busy that she hadn't heard me calling her name. I tried twice thrice but still she was not hearing me. My patience died .And I went near her and took the phone from her hand.

I raised my hand in which I was holding the phone high in air and she wasn't able to reach it.

she stood on the tip of her toes but she still wasn't able to reach it.

"go have your food and I will give you the phone" I ordered and without waiting she run to dining table and I followed her, keeping the phone in my pants pocket .

we had our food in complete silence. she was trying to have her food quickly but got chocked in one on the bite and after that she ate at her normal speed which was as slow as turtle.

after eating my food I came back to my home office and continued my work until it was finished.

until midnight my work was finished and before going to bed I went to heer's room to check if she was asleep or not.

she was asleep but in a different way today. I didn't spend a lot of time in her room as I don't want to experience what i had experienced last time but it didn't work.

the clips again started playing in my head and after almost million of repetition of the clip.

i finally fall asleep.
