"I'm cursed! These poor animals won't stop getting hurt until I'm gone, Y/N!" DJ whined, putting his hands over his face in defeat. You put your hand on his shoulder and smiled sweetly, trying to provide at least some sense of comfort. "I'm like— A walking bad luck charm." He sighed in despair.
"You are not a bad luck charm, DJ. They're simple accidents." You tried to comfort him and make him feel better. He huffed, making it clear that he did not agree with you. "What?" You asked, removing your hand from his shoulder.
"I can't keep hurting these animals, Y/N. Mama doesn't like animals being hurt!" DJ pouted, clearly upset about hurting the animals. "I'm hurting innocent animals! I'm the bad luck!"
"Okay, maybe, but just because this is happening, doesn't mean you're a bad luck charm." You put your hands on his, which were on his knees. "Don't ever think you're just some bad luck charm."
"But I am, Y/N!"
"No. DJ, let me hear you say you aren't a bad luck charm. I need you to say it to me."
DJ huffs at your request, looking down at the ground, before looking back up at you. ".. I'm not a bad luck charm."
"Good. Now, come here." You smile, wrapping your arms around DJ for a hug. DJ wrapped his arms around you with a smile.
"I'm so lucky to have you in my life, Y/N."
