(Osamu's point of view)
Once our boss was out of sight, I used an arm gesture to get Arise to come over. She did so and silently took my left hand. "Dazai, are you sure this is something we should even be doing? As far as I can physically tell, the organization's newest member is still a minor.", Chuya said as we exited the headquarters with her. "Even so, Chuya, you heard what the boss said. No matter the outcome or circumstances, we mustn't allow her to get hurt.", I responded. "Well, it doesn't really look like she even knows either of us.", he said after noticing her looking up at me with a confused expression on her face. "Oh, right. I'm Osamu Dazai and this right here is my mission partner Chuya Nakahara.", I said. "H-Hello.", she replied. "Say, how old are you?", he asked. "Thirteen.", Arise answered. After at least five minutes of walking forward, we made it to the shipping dock I lived at. Right there and then, Chuya turned around. "Are you heading back to the part of the port you live in, Chuya?", I asked. "Yes I am. So whatever you do, Dazai, don't you dare let Arise out of your goddamn sight.", he replied before walking away. The moment he left this area of the port, I noticed she had let go of my left hand and turned to see her use her arms and hands to climb up onto one of the shipping containers. "Would you look at that. It appears Arise is certainly going to enjoy living in this part of Yokohama.", I thought before joining her. Early in the evening, I saw Arise return from shopping at a store. As soon as we finished our dinner, I spent the rest of the evening helping her with setting up a place to sleep.
