18- Betrayal

*Two days later..."

Jisung was walking through the hallway with Felix to go the class they had together when at a certain point Felix stopped walking.

Felix: "Ji...I feel strange..."

Jisung: "Oh are you ok?"

Felix: "I feel like my head is about to burst and that I'm going to faint..."

Jisung: "Omg, but so suddenly!? Then you can not go to class like this, I'll take you tovthe bathroom"

Felix: "Thank u Ji...wait let's walk slowly, I see all black..."

Jisung: "Lix! What's happening? It's the first time I'm seeing you like this..."

Felix: "Don't worry,bI think I'm just having a drop in sugar...I already don't see black anymore, but can you please buy me a snack?"

Jisung: "Of course! Just wait right here, I'll be right back. In the meantime you should wash your face with cold water"

Felix: "Yes...thank you Ji..."

Jisung: "Wait shall I hold your backpack for you? Give it to me"

Felix: "NO!"

Jisung: "Oh...are you sure? It wouldn't annoy me, don't worry"

Felix: "No, I mean, I have some stuff in it for like, you know ehm... emergency, so I'll take some pills right now for my low blood pressure..."

Jisung: "Ohh okok, then I'll go now"

Jisung was walking to the snack machine when he heard some footsteps behind him. He turned around thinking it was Felix who decided to go with him, but he saw no one. So, he just kept walking and he finally arrived at the machine. The hallways were all empty because all the students were in their classes. Jisung started pressing the keys of the machine to take two snacks, but each key made a sound when pressed, so he didn't hear that there was really someone behind him. That someone covered Jisung's eyes with a sort of bandana, and dragged him away from the hallway. Jisung tried to free himself from his grip, but it turned out impossible because that person put handcuffs on his hands. Jisung wanted to scream for help, but his mouth was also shut by another bandana. Then the boy understood that there wasn't only a person who was doujg that to me, but they were surely at least two. Jisung got dragged outside the school by those people who then put him inside a car. At that point they also tied his ankles with a rope. Jisung was panicking and extremely scared: he couldn't move, or see, or scream...he could only hear, but no one was talking. They were certainly trying not to get recognised.

Jisung was now locked in a room. He was still all tied and both his eyes and mouth were still covered. At a certain point a person entered the room and took off the bandana that was blocking his sight.

Jisung's eyes opened wide: the person who kidnapped him, the person he had right now in front of his face was Hyunjin. Jisung was shocked. He started looking around the room and he recognised that he was in Hyunjin's attic in particular on the floor of his bedroom.

Jisung: "Mm! Mmmh!!!!???"

Hyunjin: "It's useless to try to speak, I can't underatand you and at the moment I don't want to take off the bandana from your mouth. So, you're probably wondering why I'm doing this to you...well it's your fault. All your fault. If you hadn't broken our friendship, now we would be happy together just like some time ago...why did you decide to ruin everything? Oh yes, I know why. The reason is that you only think of Minho. He's the only person you actually care about. That's why you dumped him...you prefer him rather than me...such a horrible taste. If we were still friends, we could have also developed our friendship into something more, because I know that you wanted it too. I'm Hwang Hyunjin after all, everyone loves me and so do you. But don't worry, I'm not angry at you. I forgive you. I know you're just confused because Minho loves staying inside your heart, but now you're here and you won't see that parasite anymore. Never again. You can be mine now. Oh, and I fotgot another little thing: I think you recognise this backpack, don't you? Well, if you think you can count on your friend then you're just delusional because he helped me this all time"

Jisung: "Mm!!!!"

Hyunjin: "Mh, ok I'll take off that bandana too, but wait a second"

After few minutes Hyunjin came back with...Felix. Jisung was staring right into his eyes in disbelief. Jisung at that moment felt really alone. Felix, his best friends, betrayed him like that. Therefore, Hyunjin took off the bandana from his mouth and Jisung started to scream in anger.

Jisung: "FELIX! WHY?!?! Why are you doing this to me and with him...why...WHY?! I thought we were inseparable, I thought we could trust each other, I thought we were real best friends...so why, tell me why!"

Felix: "I- I had to do that Ji...I'm sorry but I can't forget Minho... you've taken my place since the moment you two met...he was my boyfriend but you didn't care!"

Jisung: "But we talked about it with you too! You said it was fine, if you didn't tell us it wasn't then-"

Felix: "Then what? Do you think Minho wouldn't have seen you anymore just because I said no? No...he would have still followed you and you would have still fallen for him...you don't care about my feelings at all"

Jisung: "What are you saying? You really have that little trust in me? All this time if my relationship with Minho was hurting you, you couldbhave just said that. I asked you about it so many times, but you always said it was fine and you would also want me to tell you about it. Am I supposed to read in you mind and to know when you're lying or saying the truth??? Well, I can't do that. If only you were honest to me...but now you've helped this brat to kidnap me, your best friend"

Hyunjin: "Exactly, damn Felix, you're a real bastard lol. First of all you told me about the flash drive because you couldn't keep the secret and now you blame my Jisung for everything! Just because of love...so stupid of yours"

Felix: "What?! You keep switching up! Why are you against me now?!"

Jisung: "Felix...I can't believe that...you really told him about the flash drive?"

Hyunjin: "It's right there in his backpack, in which there are also other ropes, bandanas and sooo many things..."

Jisung: "So that's what there was in your backpack...I can't trust you anymore Felix. It's not the first time you turn out untrustworthy and I just let evrything slide, but this time...you ruined my life"

Felix: "No, wait I did not!!! I didn't...I...I don't know what to say anymore..."

Jisung: "Just go away! I don't want to see you ever again!"

Felix was both shocked and scared...he didn't want to leave Jisung like that, he didn't want his friendship with him to finish just like that.

Felix's pov:

What did I do? Why did I do this? Why am I so fucking selfish? He's Ji! My best friend! I ruined evrything jist because of this asshole here...and I also always knew he's a bad guy, bit still I was manipulated by his words. He put me against my best friend just because he wanted to use me for his plan. I pretended to feel sick, I made Jisung go to the snack machine so that Hyunjin could catch him, and now, with my words, I completely ruined everything...

Author's pov:

Hyunjin: "Why are you still here? Didn't you hear him? Go away"

Felix: "No"

Hyunjin: "What did you say?!"

Felix: "Jisung, I don't want you to forgive me, but let me just help you in this situation", he said while picking up the backpack.

Hyunjin: "You won't go anywhere with that backpack", he said and then he pounched him many times. Felix fortunately used to take taekwondo classes when he was younger, so he knew how to defend himself. But once he was able to escape from Hyunjin he had to find the key to open the door of his attic and flee away. He wanted to go to the police with the flash drive to report Hyunjin.

Jisung: "FELIX, HE'S COMING!!!"

Hyunjin ran in front of the entrance to block Felix from finding the key: "YOU WON'T ESCAPE FROM HERE!"
