Kylie It's been a week since i brought Rachel home from the hospital. Overall its been nice but sleepless nights aren't something I thought about. Though when she wakes up through the night has just been her mostly wanting to be near me. Like last night I was awoken by Rachel crying at three in the morning, but when i went in the nursery and picked her up she stopped crying almost instantly, in which i knew she just wanted to be near me so taking that into account. I carried her back to my room and knowing that i don't really move in my sleep i laid her down next to me with my arm right next to her just in case if something was to happen. She will wake up two or three times during the night hungry.
7am I woke up to the sound of crying from the cries I could tell that Rachel was hungry. So i sat up and unbuttoned my pajama top, and picked her up after that i positioned her to where she could nurse. While she was nursing i got my laptop and started on some schoolwork done. After 15 minutes i felt Rachel stop nursing so i got a burping towel, put it over my shoulder and softly patted her back until she burped. I then laid her down and fixed my top, picked Rachel back up and started to rock her back and forth while singing you are my sunshine to her until she fell back asleep. Once she was asleep i took this chance to continue doing my schoolwork. It's been two hours and a half hours I've finally finished all of my assignments. Now its time for my morning routine so I go to take a shower, once out of the shower I open the bathroom door so that i can watch Rachel while I dry my hair and brush my teeth, I hear her start to fuss i walk in my room from my bathroom and picked her up and felt the diaper was heavy so i walked to her nursery and laid her on the changing table and changed her diaper. Once i changed the diaper i go to her closet and pick an outfit and change her outfit. I then go back to my room but before going back I put her back in her crib and set up the baby monitor and left the door open.
This is her outfit
