A few weeks ago I received a letter from a lawyer stating that Sebastien was suing for custody of Rachel. Today is the day of the hearing and everyone in the rise of red cast has the day off and they told me they were coming to support Peder and I. Once we all arrive at the courthouse the cast members that came to support me walk in to the courthouse with me. Eventually our case was called and everyone walked into the large room. Reluctantly I give Rachel to Peder and take a seat next to my lawyer. Soon enough I'm called to the stand and Sebastien's lawyer asks me if i had ever told him he would never see his daughter. Being under oath I said yes, the lawyer asked why i had said that I responded that he would never get custody of my daughter especially since he isn't on her birth certificate. Sebastien's lawyer said no further questions your honor now my lawyer asked me if he had stuck around through the pregnancy and I responded quickly no as soon as he found out that I was pregnant he fled.

Soon i was called to the stand. When Sebastien's lawyer asked if he had ever said anything about taking Rachel away from Kylie. I said yes that i had overheard his conversation with Kabir stating that he would take Rachel and turn her against her mom. Then Kylies lawyer proceeded to ask if I had ever seen him harm her once again I said yes but on two different counts one was when kylie was pulled aside and since i never trusted him I followed them. When i saw that Sebastien was about to hit her i quickly put myself in the middle of them and the second count was when once again Kylie was pulled aside and this time I couldn't help her in time and she had a red mark on her cheek.

Hearing everything that Sebastien did to Kylie it made me mad that i being a mother couldn't stop it from happening the second time. I was called to the stand and asked by Sebastien's lawyer has Kylie ever mentioned leaving her daughter somewhere i was offended for kylie and I rudely said no she hasn't and why would you even suggest that she would do something like that.

the judge ruled in my favor stating that no changes to the birth certificate or custody would be made. So Peder and I approached the bench of the judge and asked if Peder would be able to adopt Rachel as his daughter. The judge said yes and told us to see him in his chambers so we walked out of the courtroom and thanked everyone who supported me for coming. Walking to his chambers i was happy knowing that Peder would soon officially become Rachels father.
