The Lost Kingdom

CHAPTER - 2 

Ever since that day, Both Tom and Jerry felt Fuzzy having someone admiring each other by others.

Then all of a sudden, tom was in freezing cold forest, what creeped him most was not the drippy icicle from the branches but the dead silence as if none exists other than him. Then suddenly, a voice break out making Tom to fell suddenly on shock but felt unknown familiarity.

Isn't it strange when something so surreal feels so familiar?! he wonders to himself.

"IT'S TIME!"

Tom inquired "Who is this? what do you mean?"

"IT'S TIME IDIOT! WAKE UP!" Jerry pulled down his bedsheets he cuddled so closely as if it's last day.

Tom was still processing about his dream, thinking whether he should ask confess it to Jerry then dismissed the idea.

"Oh you are done for!" yelled Margret

Tom was annoyed further at the screaming voice disturbing his peaceful nap the he realized and said "Ah she might have came to know about the cake incident."

"YAAA, Jerry! you even started bullying now? ..... not to mention a RICH girl?? Are you out of your teeny mind? if she comes for revenge, what will you do?

"Oh Mother Martha, don't worry! I shall slam her face full of makeup to make a brand new wall print!"

"NO DINNER for you tonight stay at the garden AND no more arguments, out now"

"Madam Martha!!" exclaimed Tom.

"Oh shut up Tom, you should have stopped her! what the hell were you doing? huh - day dreaming?" yelled back Martha.

"Madam, you have to understand the whole picture if not for the Bi - sorry, if not for Katy doing something, our Jerry wouldn't have reacted this way!"

"I don't care Tom!"

Martha turns up to scan Jerry to find her guilt but Jerry just stared right at madam's eyes and took her stand.

"007 OUT NOW!"

"Tommy, don't bother explaining things to her, are you blind? She doesn't show an ounce of love or sympathy for us unlike other kids and you know me, the winter never bothers me, I'm full of heat and hatred right now!"

Jerry stormed out with eyes filled with yearning for love and anger.

While Tom looked at Martha for a brief second, tries to utter words but just walks back to the dorm. Martha showed no emotions and goes towards the window to feel the cool night breeze but she sees Jerry by the Oak Tree playing her flute. Jerry's penetrating flute music pierces Martha's heart brutally as the event unfolding before her eyes demonstrates that an instrument reflects how the instrumentalist feels like! For the first time in 17 years, Jerry eyes failed her and dropped few tears which worsened the condition of Martha's heart.

Martha rushed inside dormitory to fetch Tom

"Come with me Tom, NOW"

"Why should I?" asked Tom

"Just come with me"

"Ugh"

Now both of them are stuck by the sight of Jerry and her flute that bewitched the tall mighty Oak tree behind her to dance like a crazy woman completely addicted and under the throne of Jerry as she looked more majestic yet sad at the same time.

The scenario and flute music was broken by Martha's voice

"Care to explain what happened today, Tom?"

"Why do you care anyway, you gave her punishment already and let it be! I'm leaving!"

Tom starts to walk back and Martha rushes behind begging him to wait

"I've important exams tomorrow Madam, Kindly leave me alone!"

"ZERO - ONE - ONE EXPLAIN!"

Tom freezes on his path, turns towards her coldly and said "Katy called us worthless orphans who don't deserve to know their birthdates! Happy? I'm leaving!"

"Only a dead body would stand quiet after all her words and don't disturb me again Madam, I really gotta score well tomorrow to visit our school funded trip to the land of imagination! added Tom walking towards Dorm.

Martha in utter shock inquired " What? Why that place?"

"What now? you want me explain every damn detail that goes in our life? Anyways, our management decided that place and I hope it doesn't concern any business of yours! Good Night Madam!"

Tom disappears inside the dorm while Martha just standing outside in the garden questioning the choices made by Ray

"It's happening sooner than I thought, what are you planning to do Ray?" pondering to herself while looking at Jerry.

SCENE - 2 PART - 2

* AT DORM'S LIBRARY *

Jerry: "Argh, so fricking annoying! Moreover tests tomorrow, God gimme a break!"

"Just sit and study already idiot or just idolize me as I'm carrying my class to the land of imagination!"

"Shut up, that will be my class!"

Tom goes over browsing books and found something more interesting at distance! A book gleaming inspired him to fetch it and suddenly on the touch of the book cover, He remembers his dream! What the -

Whatcha doin...planning how to fail poor tommy? asked Jerry

"Isn't this book interesting?"

"The lost kingdom?! oh come on, it's going to be the same cliche stories about some king and queen ruling the land and the land got lost in times with mystic elements and stuffs!"

"The book gleamed Jer, I saw it!"

"I guess your lil nap wasn't enough, if you done studying just head to sleep dumbass! I gotta study more after wasting an hour or so at garden but phew, it refreshed me!"

"You ok Pal? you can rest up and study tomorrow morning!"

"Ahaa, I see our tommy is afraid whether I'm going to steal his dream of visiting the land of imagination!"

"You lil shit, come here" chasing Jerry inside the library and both were laughing once again only to get scolded by Peter the librarian.

Tom with his special book sat next to Jerry while she studied and suddenly "Jer, you gotta take a look at this! I can't believe it's a comic book when the cover looked all magnificent outside!"

"Huh really?! what's the comic is about?"

"This comic is all about the kingdoms Stallard and Ashford the kings married girls from the commoner family living a happy life" says Tom.

"Kings marries from Commoner household is this a typical Cinderella story. Keep going Tom, what you lost yourself in my beauty? Huh?" belittles Jerry.

"The hell you talk about, I wasn't staring at you because of your ugly face but..."

" oh really? whatever! Just keep reading the stupid book?" replied Jerry coldly as ever.

"That's the issue Jer the pages are blank after this" says tom.

"Stop with your pranks Tom give me the damn book... wait what the fish! it's truly blank now it gets my interest I want to read about it more." Listening to Jerry, Tom tilted his head in loving annoyance "Fine Jerry but now let's go, it's time for our revision"

When both their hands touched the book that book beamed with golden lights of the world that is yet to be explored by our loving duo Tom & Jer who absolutely failed to notice it!

But it was clearly noticed by someone... and that person exclaimed with joy "Ah I was waiting for this time now you will be mine forever!"
