Back at the apartment, Noi took Ava in the closet since he got super frightened by the hair dryer.
"Don't worry, Ava. I will protect you," Noi exclaimed while looking at Ava who was unconscious.
"Hello? Hello? Are you alright," Ms. Oats asked in concern as she knocked on the door.
"What are you trying to do? I thought you're going to help Ava," Noi replied in fear.
"My late husband never likes sudden loud noises either. So I completely understand that you get caught off guard or bothered. I deeply apologize. I can assure you that Ava is perfectly safe," Ms. Oats said.
Noi peeked out from the closet.
"Are you sure," Noi asked in fear.
"Of course. It's just a hair dryer that is used to dry hair. If Ava keeps her hair wet for too long, she'll get even more sick," Ms. Oats replied.
"Do you ever dry your hair," She asked.
"No," Noi replied.
Meanwhile at the market...
"Okay, we need to look for the ingredients for the chicken noodle soup. I think it's best if we split up and look for the ingredients, but one of you guys needs to be with me since I don't know about this market," Nepty stated.
"Okay then, what should we do," Leif asked.
"Mr. Pierce, I need you to go and find the veggies, the carrots, onions, and celery. The carrots are orange, long and pointy with a leaf on top. The onions are the brown circles with a stem on top. The celery are long and green with a bunch of leaves," Nepty commanded.
Pierce nodded.
"Mr. Rhys, you can get the chicken and the noodles! The chicken can be in a bag already made. The noodles...... just grab the first bag you see. They're long and squiggly," Nepty commanded.
"Affirmative," Rhys said.
"Mr. Asch, you can get the chicken broth. It comes in a box and just try to look for the one that has the picture of the soup bowl," I commanded.
"Okay got it," Asch said.
"Mr. Leif, you and I will get the fresh herbs. Whatever those are, but they're only ones that I have no clue what they look like," Nepty commanded.
"We'll meet up back here with the stuff. Let's go," She added.
They all split up to look for the ingredients. A few minutes later, they got all the ingredients for the soup and Nepty paid the cashier with the load of cash from her piggy bank.
"Okay, now we need to get back to the apartment without being spotted," Nepty said.
"I'll take care of it," Leif said.
Leif picked up Nepty in his arms and phased back to the apartment along with the rest of the others. At the apartment, Ms. Oats informed the others that Ava is awake, but still sick.
Nepty and Rhys helped out Ms. Oats making the chicken soup for Ava while the others checked on Ava.
Nepty carried the bowl to the bedroom where Ava is resting and Rhys helped her feed Ava with the soup.
"Thank you, sweetie. I'm sorry that I got you worried," Ava said.
"It's okay, Mommy. I'm just glad that you're okay," Nepty said.
As Ava was ready to go to sleep, Nepty crawled onto the bed and stroked Ava's hair.
"The Earth is spinning, slowly spinning," Nepty sang as the others watched her.
"The stars and moon now fill the sky," She continued until she heard Rhys start singing.
"Magic glow, the night's beginning," Rhys sang.
"So sing a lu-lu-lullaby," He continued.
"La la lullaby. La la lullaby," The others sang.
"Sing, sing to myself," Rhys sang.
"A lu-lu-lullaby," The others sang.
"The Earth is sleepy, very sleepy. The ocean rocking shore to shore," Noi sang.
"In each house, igloo and teepee. Lu-lu-lullaby some more," Leif sang.
"La la lullaby. La la lullaby," The others sang.
"Sing, sing to myself," Nepty sang.
"A lu-lu-lullaby," The others sang.
"Your room is cozy, safe and cozy," Pierce sang.
"Happy dreams are soon to be," Noi sang.
"How good it feels to be so dozy," Rhys sang.
"So lu-lu-lullaby with me," Asch sang.
"La la lullaby. La la lullaby. Sing, sing, sing with us. A lu-lu-lullaby," The others sang.
"La la lullaby. La la lullaby. Sing, sing, sing with us. A lu-lu-lullaby," They harmonized.
Nepty and the demons laid down on the bed with Ava.
"Sing, sing, sing with us. A lu-lu-lullaby," They ended as they went to sleep.
