The next morning, Ava recovered from her sickness and was still bedridden. Nepty and the others walked over to Ava's bedroom to see her awake.

"Morning Mommy," Nepty said.

"Are you better yet," Asch asked.

"Asch, Ms. Oats said it would take a few suns, before Ava," Noi cutted off.

"She's taking forever to recover," Asch exclaimed.

"She's awake on her own today," Pierce stated.

"Yeah, no thanks to Leif," Ava said.

"What did you do," Asch asked, irritated.

"I kept her busy last night," Leif replied with a smirk.

Flashback

Leif crouched next to Ava's bed as he poked her head with his sickles. Ava woke up and Leif finally asked the question that had been running in his mind for a while.

"Are you dead?" He asked.

"I'm sick, leave me alone," Ava replied, tired especially with Leif bothering her.

"I'm just gonna wait here to make sure you don't die yet. I don't want Neptuna to be upset," Leif said, imagining Nepty being upset and crying.

"How thoughtful," Ava said.

She rolled over to the other side, not facing Leif and closing her eyes. As Ava was on the verge of going to sleep again, Leif poked her with his sickle again but this time, it was on her butt.

"Why did you poke my butt," Ava exclaimed as she sat up.

"I poked you with my weapon. What else would I poke you with," Leif stated.

"And he kept poking me throughout the night. Look he's doing it right now," Ava said, getting annoyed as Leif kept poking her.

Leif broke out of the daze he was in and stopped poking her.

"Oh uh, whoops," Leif said.

"Cut it out, you-," Asch scolded.

"Are you feeling better at least," Noi asked.

"Mhm, I'm feeling much better. Thank you guys for taking care of me," Ava replied.

"We also had a little help from Neptuna," Noi said, happily.

"Where's Rhys and Nepty," Ava asked.

"Good question. Rhys! Prisoner! Where are you two," Asch yelled out.

Rhys and Nepty walked through the door with big smiles on their faces while Rhys was holding a pink book.

"We're here," Nepty exclaimed, happily.

"And I'm alive," Rhys exclaimed, happily.

"Woah, wait- Rhys, you have glasses," Ava asked while blushing.

Rhys and Nepty walked over towards Ava and Rhys grasped onto Nepty and Ava's hands.

"Princess Ava, I can see your face clearly now," Rhys said, happily.

"Where did you get those," Ava asked.

"Ms. Oats gave it to him. He was having trouble reading and squinting his eyes a lot. Now with the glasses, he's able to see things a lot better," Nepty replied.

"Yes, this is lasting longer than any other spells we tried on Daemos," Rhys exclaimed, happily.
