Chapter 16: The tiger couple

"Hmph! I thought you've forgotten about me ."
Fei li-nah complained while entering to Xu xin's study

"Oh, come on nah-nah! how could I forget about you!"
Xu xin said trying to convince her

"Okay okay I was just kidding, I know that you're busy girl! That's why I came to help you anyway. Can I know now why you called me here suddenly"
li-nah asked

"Well... I wanted to invite you for dinner tonight to discuss about the women's army and the upcoming war. You will come right? "
Xu xin asked

"Okay, I'll come "
li-nah agreed

"Hmm.. you must have works to do.. then, you may take your leave now. See you at dinner."
Xu xin said

"See you "
li-nah left

- Meanwhile at the tiger kingdom -

"Your highness, His highness,The king of the dragon kingdom has arrived"
An eunuch informed to the king

"Lead him to the lotus palace and tell him that I'll be there soon "
Ding wei said while engaging in his daily paper work

After a while he went to the lotus palace to meet his best friend

" Hello old man, I thought you've forgotten about your best friend after getting married."
Ding wei said with a smirk
(He calls him old man to tease hao because wei is one year younger than hao)

"You know man, we were in a war.So we didn't really have time to hang out with friends."
Wang hao said with a sighing voice

"I know I know, that's why we're always ready to lend our hand for the dragon kingdom. You know we just need your word and we'll be there in a second."
Said Ding wei offering him tea

"I know man, that's why I came to meet you today. We should discuss about the matter of the north. It seems like the situation is worse than we thought."
Wang hao said drinking his tea

"Why?did something happened?"
Ding wei asked

"Not yet. But it seems like something bad is going to happen soon. Xu xin's restless because of that. I feel it too but she feels it more as she was the nature goddess. She can feel the slightest changes of the world. Seeing how restless she is, I can understand how bad the situation is. We should do something about this. At least we should find out what's really going on. So she asked me to invite you for dinner tonight to discuss about this matter."
Wang hao said

"O-Okay, It's good that we have a discussion. I'll be there tonight."
Ding wei agreed

"Okay then let's meet there wei, I'll take my leave now."
Wang hao said

"Okay man, see you there"

After returning to the dragon palace Wang hao went to his study and checked his daily paper works.

-In the evening-

li-nah finished her daily trainings as the trainer of the assassins and spies early to get ready for the dinner with the king and the queen. She was on her way to the main palace when she suddenly got a familiar feeling. While She was looking for the familiar aura she bumped into the most handsome man she had ever met (In her opinion obviously cuz our Hao is more handsome than him he he) Ding wei caught her before she fall and that's when their eyes met.

"I-I'm so s-sorry...."
She stuttered looking into his emerald eyes

"It's okay...uh....m-my fated one?"
Ding wei was confused and couldn't help but also looking deep into her eyes

"...Y-Yes I t-think so....."
li-nah said with her brightest smile

"Then...Can I know my fated one's name?"
Ding wei asked, still looking into her eyes

"I-It's Fei li-nah...and.. yours?.."
li-nah asked

"It's Ding wei. Nice to meet you li-nah"
Ding wei said

"Nice to meet you too..."
li-nah giggled

"Are you a maid?"
Ding wei asked (This man!!! What a great way to ruin the conversation! He's unbelievable!!)

"What?! N-No! no no.. I'm not a maid "
li-nah laughed slightly

"Oh! sorry! I just thought... since you're here at the main palace.. you know... "
Ding wei said patting his back head because of embarrassment

"ha ha I know I know.....But I'm not a maid. I'm a general. "
li-nah said trying to control her laugh

"Really?!"
Ding wei asked excitedly

"yeaaah...Then tell me, who are you? I've never seen you before inside the palace. I can guess you're from a noble family by seeing your outfit and your behaviour."
li-nah said

"Woh! you're really good at guessing ha ha..Yes you're right, but I'm not just a nobleman."
Said Ding wei

"Then? who are you?"
li-nah was curious

"I'm a king "
Ding wei said calmly

"What?!!"
li nah was surprised by his reply

"Yeaah... I'm the king of the tiger kingdom. I came to the dragon palace to have dinner with my best friend and his wife."
Said Ding wei

"Y-you're the king of the tiger kingdom?!! Really?!! I never thought my fated one would be a king! I'm really confused and shocked!"
li nah said

"Well.. but here I am.."
Ding wei said with a smirk

"So you also came for the dinner?"
li-nah asked

"Yes ... Are you too?"
Ding wei also asked

""Yeah! Queen said we should discuss about matters of the north and she invited me to the dinner for further discussion"
li nah said and thought,
"Xin xin, now I can understand the real reason why you invited me for dinner ha ha.. good job xin xin.."

"Oh! That's great then, let's go together "
Ding wei said

"O-Okay.."
li-nah came out of her thoughts and agreed

They went together to the dining hall and greeted to their best friends

"Hey old man, How was your day? After a long time huh sister xin?"
Ding wei asked

"Ha ha you haven't change a bit brother wei, nice to meet you after a long time "
Xu xin also greeted him with a chuckle

"I told you Xin'er,he never changes"
Wang hao said rolling his eyes.

"Seems like you two have already met! Then I don't have to introduce you two to each other right?"
Xu xin asked

"Yes xin xin We already know about each other."
li-nah said giggling

"Then,shall we have our dinner and start our discussion ?"
Wang hao asked

"Okay "
