It wasn't as bad as Midoriya tho, maybe it was a good thing that you got 3rd? You were only worth 200 points, it was a lot better than 1 million points.

"Yagi." A calm and cold voice called your name, you looked behind you and Todoroki stood in front of you.

"I thought you wanted to beat me?" You tilted your head in confusion. "I know, but I need you for something." He grabbed your arm and pulled you aside.

Why would he want you on his team? Was it because you were behind him, was it because of your father?

"My father is Endeavour, I'm sure you're aware." He began and you nodded. "I'm the result of a quirk marriage, I was his success. If I use my fire." He looked you in the eyes.

"Take my quirk." Your eyes widened. "I'm not trying to pry but isn't it more smart to use both? Plus I might not be able to steal just your fire."

He nodded in understanding. "I want to prove to my old man that I'm not him, I'm sure you agree." He looked up at the stands, your father and his.

You looked down. "I guess, I want to be better than him but I also want to be like him." You mumbled and he stared at you. "But I know how you feel about not wanting to be like your father, the press always wants me to look, act and even fight like him."

You stood next to Iida, this was going to be difficult. He was very fast compared to you and keeping up with him was like a cheetah and a cat trying to race.

The game started and all Todoroki made you all do was run and find a way to corner Midoriya, foolish but you had to trust him.

One guy made your team sink into the ground. "If we find an opening then I can get rid of that quirk, the only downside is that I'll be slower than Iida the more we go."

Todoroki shook his head. "Don't waste your power now, we have to wait." You nodded and followed after Iida.

He finally got them in front of Midoriya and you smiled, this is where you finally get to prove that you aren't just the daughter of all might.

Yaoyorozu had you in roller skates, she covered us and Kaminari shocked dark shadow as everyone closed in on Midoriya's team.

Todoroki froze the other contestants in place so they didn't have a chance to get Midoriya's headband.

"Everyone, I'm going to do something that'll make me useless to you." Iida spoke up and you tilted your head, hopefully this could give you a good chance at taking ATLEAST one of their quirks.

"Brace yourselves." He warned and got ready to run, you held onto the sleeve of his shirt. The last thing you needed was to be thrown aside.

Iida ran super fast and you managed to touch Uraraka's arm, this wasn't much but it would slow down the others. The equipment that they have on is going to slow them down.

They were already on the other side of the grounds. "What was that?" Todoroki asked the question. "Forced my torque into overdrive, gave me explosive power." You stared in awe, he was so cool.

You took a deep breath, your mark was still glowing bright.

Midoriya's team charged at theirs and Todoroki lifted his left hand.

You slipped your hand towards him and Midoriya and lightly touched both of them. Todoroki's flame diminished and Midoriya punched with no effect.

Midoriya grabbed a headband but it wasn't the one he wanted, you on the other hand were quickly trying to grab Todoroki's hand.

He reached down and you slapped it quickly. "We don't have much time." You muttered to Iida.

"Midoriya's quirk will break my bones, we need to hurry." He nodded and explained it to Todoroki.

Bakugo's team came out of nowhere as well as Tokoyami launching an attack at them, so much was happening and all you could do was clench your teeth as your bones grew sore.

"Times up!" You sighed and ran over to Midoriya, quickly touching him and Uraraka's arms. "Sorry, I had to." You apologized and rubbed your limbs.

"[Y/N]! You were great out there!" Your father placed a hand on your shoulder, you looked down with a nod. "I know, I just wished I got 1st. I know I would've been in the same boat as Midoriya but I'd feel better."

"But it's good to see how much he's grown! I'm happy for you both!" He smiled brightly and you looked up with a smile. "Yeah."

You walked away angry, you shouldn't be this angry. He just complimented you, but he also complimented Midoriya.

Why were you so jealous? You should be happy for him, you're happy for others all the time, why aren't you happy for him?

"Hey, Yagi." Yaoyorozu said nervously, holding a cheer uniform, you looked over at the girl. "Yeah?" You took a sip of water as she took a breath.

"Mr. Aizawa is expecting us to wear these, for a cheer battle. We'll get in trouble if we don't." She handed you the uniform with a soft smile.

"That's strange, should I go ask Mr. Aizawa about it?" The girl shook her head. "Kaminari told us, and the other schools are wearing them." You nodded and went into another room to changed.

Your father bursted into the arena, even using his quirk. He covered you and shook his head at the crowd as he wrapped you up in a blanket.

"Don't do that!" He rubbed his temples and grabbed you by the blanket that was wrapped around you and walked into the school.
